Gemini lunar eclipse
November 28, 2012 9:45am EST
A full moon always pushes our emotions and when you add an eclipse you double the pressure. But with the Sun in Sag and the Moon in Gemini the pressure is not so much on our hearts as it is on our brains.
Read this and say it out loud:
“I don’t know what I don’t know”
Great. Now you are in the headspace for this Gemini lunar eclipse.
What we know and what we don’t know is specific. I know my son likes fish and chips. I don’t know anything about the weather patterns in Beijing. They are both limited. I know this thing and I know I don’t know this other thing,---- but when I consider that I don’t know what I don’t know---- well, that opens up a huge space.
That is the space where we are headed during the full moon. It is where we are stretching. Like a Phoenician sailor in the last millennium our boat may be going off the edge of the world of what we know. Or if you prefer, Dorothy didn’t know what she didn’t know until she went to Oz.
Jupiter the planet of travel and exploration is on top of the Moon. Jupiter is the mega planet everything he does is big and on the same day as the Full Moon there is a mega big ass power ball lottery in play. Jupiter is certainly speaking considering someone is going to win a half a billion dollars. Think this moon is big or what?
Jupiter pushes us to broaden our world and our perspective. Hiding in our house is not the way to play this moon. Get out there, get some information, and get some new data. Reach out and find some new people, new contacts, create a new nexus.
On Monday we wrapped up a mercury retrograde, if some poison came up during the last three weeks either through a mistake or miscommunication then use this full moon to seek advise from someone wise (Sag) or travel far from your immediate world by reaching out to a different group and learn something. Take this moon to get to a higher level, get some wisdom.
This is a moon that tells us to prepare to have our minds blown away.
You may hear a story from a friend and your response is, “WTF? Can you repeat that, I can’t believe I am hearing what I’m hearing!”
On the micro level we will be processing what we believe (Sag) and how we communicate (Gemini) and are they in synch? Are our beliefs opposite to what we think or speak? You can believe in doing yoga three days a week but if you lay on the horn when someone cuts you off in traffic---well, you do the math. And if you don’t do the math someone during this three day full moon will do the math for you.
The Sun & Moon are also in square with Chyron in Pisces so there will be some kind of wounding for all of us to see. Travel, education, communication, writings, spiritual and art will be highlighted. Hypocrites be forewarned this is not the moon for your normal BS to fly.

I do not follow football but when I saw this on the news today I had to laugh.
Apparently a computer error set off the sprinklers in the middle of the football game between Miami and Seattle.
The computer is set to go off on Saturdays but for some reason it thought Sunday was Saturday.
Seattle felt at home with the unexpected rain.
Just a couple hours to go and Mercury will station direct.
Sunday, November 25, 2012
We can all get on our knees and thank the heavens for stationing Mercury and ending this hideous retrograde not one second too soon.
I found this particular retrograde to be especially annoying. How many computer and printer issues can one person have? I will be wrapping up the retrograde with a tech guy coming over and looking at my computer and straightening out my emails which will not open. I will be dropping off the printer for 2nd time to be fixed and I will be fixing the other printer as well which seems to do nothing but spread black ink.
Monday 11/26 5:48pm EST--Mercury turns direct at 19 degree of Scorpio. When I was writing up the New Moon Chart at the end of October I had not realized that Mercury direct was happening in the late afternoon-early evening (east coast) on Cyber Monday. Scorpio is of course one of our money signs. It is banks and loans and debt. And here we have it turning direct on the day where all of our in boxes receive coupons to buy products online for the big Christmas push. Curious. Will we do it in the morning but regret it by the evening when it turns direct?
At the same time that Mercury is turning direct in Scorpio we have Scorpio's ruling planet, Pluto about to receive Mars which is Scorpio's old ruling planet (before we discovered Pluto).
That is a lot of Scorpio energy at a high consumerism time. But as we know Capricorn is a sign that can be very, very practical unless it is insecure and then it wants things for 'status'.
Look around your world and see what your friends and family are buying? Ask yourself 'why are they buying?' What hole are are they trying to fill? If it is legit and smart and practical then great, everyone is learning the gift of Capricorn.
If it is all about ego and trying to fluff up one's esteem then that is bad. How about that word? Yeah, sometimes things are just bad.
And what about us? Those of us who are smart and know the energy of the planets and check in with ourselves can ask ourselves, "Have I learned anything during the retrograde about my own self esteem? " Or what do I really want or need or do I know the difference? What are you willing to go into debt about and what are you willing to skip?
This should be an interesting time for congress and the president to figure out the move before the fiscal cliff.
We can push that Thanksgiving week off of our table and loosen our belt and get ready for next week where we have to loosen our belt even more because a big ol' full moon is arriving on us.
The week starts with Gibbous Moon which is fine but what is really glorious is that Mercury finally turns direct on Monday---(Post to come). Lord not one minute too soon. On the 27th Mars conjuncts Pluto which we have discussed before, two rough house planets getting together. Sparks will come up. Rough day.
Focus on: What are you refining that speaks to your need to break free and go your own way? What are you bumping into right now? Is it people? Is it money stuff? Is it relationship stuff? Is it philosophies? Whatever it is—how does it tell you that it is time for a new approach or a new beginning?
11/26: Sun trine Uranus. Brilliance rules the day. Creative breakthroughs excel.
11/26:Venus conjuct Saturn: Love and responsibility work hand and hand. Good money day.
11/27: Mars conjunct Pluto. The general meets the war lord. An empowering day to cut out the riff raff and realize or do legitimate work towards goals that transforms us from out toes to our hair.
And now we move into the Full Moon.
Full Moon Phase/ Lunar Eclipse
November 28 9:45am EST
06 Gemini 47
Full Moon: We make the needed adjustments on the things we planted. Usually emotions are up and running and for those people who perhaps did not utilize the new moon and the rest of the waxing moon, this is when emotions can get the better of us. There can often be a big emotional break, for no other reason than to get back on track. Some partnership will offer up some balance. The moon is bright and full and there is no room for shadows, what is reflecting on you?
Focus on: Communication is ethereal. Our thoughts are a bit dazed. Our brains are speedy but they seem like they are on weed or at the very least distracted. What information are we getting that speaks to letting go and being reborn?
See later post for more info.
11/29: Venus sextile Pluto: Love guides transformation. Money and Love evolve.

Mars is in Capricorn. It has not been here for awhile and the last time it conjunct Pluto in Capricorn was December 2008 and the last time before that was in the 1770's. We will have a few more rounds of Mars on Pluto between now and 2024 and we should take the opportunity to glean the most from the aspect when it occurs. Next week they get on top of each other (27th) but they are starting to talk to each other now. They are in the orb.
In honor of the conservative nature of Capricorn and the mother of all signs for conserving---Mars is Action and Pluto transforms... and the fact that we are in the holiday season, I offer this link which I think might be helpful.

The week begins with a Crescent Moon on Monday. So, we continue to get information.
Focus on: What information are you receiving that speaks to your high ideals? What are you learning that can help your career? Generally speaking what are you learning about your career choice? What is speaking to your executive abilities?
Then on Tuesday we shift into a more action phase with a first Quarter Moon. During first quarter we have a lot of energy going on including Sun Square Neptune on the 22nd. This happens twice a year, the last one was in May. Confusion, communication kind of wonky.---perhaps a big ol lie from someone. Goals and big mouths will be at odds.
Then the next day on the 23rd Mars and Uranus are squaring off. Not a good aspect for what is going on in the Mideast. Volatility may be exaggerated all week building to a crescendo on Friday. At the very least, tempers will be short.
Gobble. Gobble. Sigh.
November 20, 9:31am EST
Focus on: What actions can you take that engage you within a group? What actions can you take that join you with like minded others? What actions can you do that are unique? How can you be more innovative in your actions?
11/21: Sun in Sagittarius – a friendly email and maybe a glass of wine in 2013 is all your Sag friend needs
11/21: Venus in Scorpio http://astrology.about.com/od/venus/p/VenusScorpio.htm
11/22: Happy Thanksgiving Day
11/22: Sun Square Neptune: Purpose that is confused. Vitality feels cut off. Dismissing and dismissed.
11/22: Venus trine Neptune: When all else fails, use gentleness and you’ll inspire yourself and others.
11/23:Mars square Uranus: Yikes. Sharp elbows poke everyone. Try to avoid skirmishes.

For the last six months I have had my antenna on the Dust Bowl. My moon in cancer loves history so I am always bent that way and so it was that I reported here back in May I watched a rebroadcast of American Experience: Dust Bowl and talked about the astrology of the time.
Then in September I found out that Ken Burns had his own documentary on Dust Bowl.
Well, just in time for the aftereffects of Hurricane Sandy and a report that the mid west despite some in climate weather is still in a drought this year, Mr. Burns' documentary will be airing this week.
You can find more about it here.
Perhaps you live in an area where city lights won't blow out the meteor shower but if you are like me and surrounded by a million of lights or more, you are in luck. Nasa has a streaming camera on this weekend's annual Leonid Meteor shower.

In honor of Scorpio New Moon I wanted to give you guys a gift. All Scorpio related.
First of all, let’s talk about RESOURCES that is a good ol’ Scorpio word. I have a feeling some of you are owed money. Even money you might not know is owed to you.
A few years ago I gave this link to a few (jillion) friends of mine and many, many of them found money. One of my friends found $5k and was so excited he posted the link on his blog and then one of his friends found out he was owed $30K.
Found money from your past. What could be more Scorpio?
Go HERE and follow the links. Happy Hunting. I wish you a bunch of dough.
Although at this time of the year any found money great.
Speaking of money, are you in a real pinch? Do you know about Modest Needs?
See if these people can help you. They have helped a few of my friends. Go HERE.
Do you need to modify a loan? Or are you worried about a foreclosure?
Go HERE for help. A totally Scorpio topic.
And in the spirit of Saturn in Scorpio, Saturn rules time. Do you have a few hours to volunteer? Do you know about a Time bank? Go HERE ….
And then there is your DNA, another great Scorpio topic.
I have a Mars in Scorpio trine Moon in Cancer so if you know astrology you know I have a pretty good handle on my genealogy. Actually, I whipped through my tree on both sides so thoroughly that I moved on to my step family tree, then my friends, then my husband, then his family…as you can tell once I started I couldn’t stop. Anyway, I love Ancestry.com but if you don’t want to join a for pay site, then you should know about Cyndi’s list. It is free and good. Plug in your mom’s mom and see what you find. HERE.
And finally, there is SEX which goes with the Scorpio profile—A girlfriend of mine owns a business that has adult toys for you know what…she is very lovely. Take a look at her site, there might be some thing you would enjoy. HERE

The news of late is of course everything Petraeus, everything FBI and everything CIA. As I indicated in my Scorpio New Moon post I thought the whole mess was perfectly –Scorpio. Both Petraeus and his girlfriend PaulaBroadwell are Scorpios and apparently capable of living up to the more shall we say prurient Scorpio reputation. Anyway, I was prepared to put this whole silly stuff into the white noise category of my brain until today, when what seemed to be let’s-double-down-in-cuckoo -day another general, General John Allen, a Sagittarius had his emails collected by the FBI because there was some concern about the nature of his missives to Jill Kelly, a Capricorn and event planner in Florida who is the same person involved in the whole Petraeus stuff. I know we need a play book to follow all of this action.
But putting aside the reality show patina, I still felt my brain go ping, ping, ping…. "Something is going on here...hmm...what is it I am feeling? What is it? "
Two generals are challenged by the FBI in one week?
Then I started thinking about GeneralMcChrystal (Leo) who back in 2010 gave a very candid article in Rolling Stone Magazine and was asked to resign after he basically said unflattering things about a lot of people including Vice President Biden, another Scorpio.
So, as I was pondering all of this stuff and the thing banging around in my head and then I realized it....
“Uranus in Aries! "
Aries is a military sign. Uranus began poking around in Aries in 2010 right when McChystal got canned. Uranus is the planet of upheaval. Not small changes, big ass changes. Like I said Upheaval.
But what started with a general getting lippy in 2010 has now turned into something much more intense. “ Did someone say intense?” That would be Pluto in Capricorn.
As we know Pluto Squares Uranus all 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015.
And if those in charge of the FBI and CIA think they are removed from this kind of upheaval and it is only a military issue, well they are VERY misguided. Pluto rules both FBI and CIA and Uranus is b’slapping them back.
There is a tie in right now to the aspects between Uranus & Pluto between 1963-66. J. Edgar Hoover was in charge of the FBI then and he made it his business to gather material on anyone famous, both Hollywood and Politicians. As much as he might have suggested he was doing it for security reasons, the test of time has proven he did primarily to blackmail powerful people. Yes a first rate d-Bag. And now we are revisiting these behaviors again as FBI goes poking around where it probably has no business poking.
In the meantime, I will need Excederin to get through these types of news cycles until 2016.
