The Rest of The Week - Astro Wise

The Full Moon Phase ends on Feb 26.   We move into disseminating where we are learning about balance and relationships.    There are some uplifting energies from Neptune and Saturn on the weekend.   Our faith and our support system feel strong.  An emotional salve for the last three weeks of the Aqaurius sturm und drang lunar month.

Disseminating
February 26, 2016
6:54pm

Disseminating: Share information; find a teacher or someone who has more knowledge. Perhaps there was a big ol’ blow out on the full and one feels in need of support and help, this is the phase to reach out to one who knows more. This is when we find a rabbi or a minister or therapist who gives us more insight.   And of course, you too may be ready to teach and share your own information.

Focus on:  How are sharing your ability to balance?  How are you sharing your understanding of relationship?  How are you sharing partnership?  How are you sharing fair mindedness?  How are you sharing diplomacy?  How are you sharing graciousness?  How is indecision being shared?

Special focus:
2/28: Sun conjunct Neptune.  Faith, spirituality, humanitarian focuses rise up.

2/29: Venus sextile Saturn.  Making love work is supported.  Making money work is supported.  Making values work is supported.

Virgo Full Moon February 22

I'm trying to get out in front of my New & Full Reports a little earlier these days.

Virgo Full Moon

On Aquarius New Moon we all agreed to celebrate our brilliance, our weird and to find our tribe.     As much as we want to focus on love, money and family we all agreed not to marginalize friends or the power of group consciousness, which are hallmarks of Aquarius.     Now here we are at Virgo Full Moon and we once again are being asked to NOT marginalize.  This time the powerful dynamics of Virgo.

Virgo is when we look at our diet, our daily schedule and our habits.    And we really ask ourselves on Virgo Full Moon —“What the hell is going on?”   Seriously, how do you spend your day? This is not a rhetorical question.       Look at your Monday – Friday calendar and figure out how many hours are spent doing what?    Are you slaving away at a job you loathe?  Are you running around cleaning up other people’s messes?  Are you catering to everyone else?   And how much of your day is focused on insecurities?  Or if not focused on insecurities how much of your day is rooted in insecurities?

And how many loose ends have been on your “To-Do” list for months and months waiting for you to address as soon as you take care of _____________?    When I was younger I had a friend who used to say, “Count the pennies and the dollars count themselves.”    Yes, of course, if we stop spending money on little silliness we will find ourselves with more money available for big important stuff.  Sure, got it.  But with Virgo, let’s not talk about money.  Let’s talk about TIME management.    How many seconds are wasted every day on stuff that is not life-affirming?

The Sun in Pisces challenges the Moon in Virgo because Pisces wants to get lost and say, “Why bother?”    Feeling lost, feeling helpless, feeling overwhelmed is the hallmark of unprocessed Pisces.   Higher functioning Pisces will feel lost at times but at the same time believe in something bigger, aka God, Spirit—Faith and it is willing to trust. Again, that is higher functioning Pisces.

Unprocessed Virgo is insecure and highly critical of any thing, any one and any motive.    On the other hand, high functioning Virgo will look at a situation, figure out a strategy to improve and then move on it. And if the strategy fails it will go back and find a new plan.    Virgo is after all, mutable, meaning adaptable.     But it is only adaptable when it is higher functioning and it is only higher functioning—when it has faith.   That thing it gets from Pisces.   Ah, the rub.   See why we learn to look at what makes our schedule and our faith on Virgo Full Moon?  The light bulb is hopefully turning on.

On this Full Moon, the Sun is in a wide conjunction with Neptune.  And although the Sun/Moon is not caught in the Saturn/Neptune square, the energy is in play through Neptune.     What does that mean?  Depression and righteousness could come up during the phase, which like all phases last about 3.5 days.   During this full phase watch and see if you have insights into your calendar and if you are stuck in routines that no longer serve you.   Check also to see if there are loose ends that can be tied up.   Take a hard look at your insecurities and see if some of them can be jettisoned.    And of course, if there is anything gnawing at you from your To-Do list, finally commit to taking care of it.    If you find yourself feeling fuzzy (Neptune) and can’t muster the energy to take care of it, I would encourage you to meditate or go to church or just get on your hands and knees for good ol’ fashion prayer.   Neptune and Pisces will be thrilled that you are reigniting the power of faith.   And sometimes that takes hard work and discipline (Saturn).   Also, you can work on daily affirmations.   Here’s one:   “I’m happy and grateful that I have an abundant life”   You come up with your own but try to always start it with happy & grateful.

And, if you feel depressed (Neptune/Saturn), okay, sure, it happens.  But do not let it get in your way.   You may need some group activity or go out and do something with friend to shift your head space.  Remember we are still in the Aquarius lunar cycle so finding like-minded people will help as you process your daily life.    In the meantime enjoy the power of Virgo discernment and tidy up calendar and your brain!     Snap, snap, snap, that is the sound of stupid insecurities breaking.   Bravo.

The Astro Week Ahead

We start the week off in 1st quarter moon.

Focus on:  What actions can you take that build on something? What actions can you take that are super stable?   What actions can you take show your ability to be patient?  What actions can you build on and build on and build on and build on?

Special focus
 2/16: Venus in Aquarius

Gibbous Moon
February 18, 2016
4:59pm  EST

Gibbous:
We refine our information.  We pick and choose, we discriminate, and we organize to be ‘Virgo’ like.  We sort through details.  Have we missed something?  How are we sifting through the information?  Go back and make sure something hasn’t been neglected.  Refine our actions.

Focus on:
What are you missing about your emotions?  What are you missing about your family?  What are you missing about roots?   What are you missing about your motivation?

Special Focus:
2/18: Sun enters Pisces
2/20: Sun semisq Pluto.  Stupid ego moves give away power.
2/21: Sun semisq Uranus.  Loss of self in chaos and rebellion.

A few more hours of Aquarius New Moon

AQUARIUS

We only have a few more hours of Aquarius New Moon.   Remember, people, during the new phase of the moon is when we plant seeds.   This lunar cycle is about friendships, groups, being with your like minded people or more specific coming togehter for a like minded cause.
That energy of doing something together speaks to the higher level of tribe.   Not tribes like your family.  Nope, the other people.  The ones you are united with not by DNA.   It is a mental connection.
Aquarius speaks to brilliance.  Aquarius speaks to being weird.  Aquarius speaks to electricity.

What seeds can you plant between now and 5:28pm EST that speak to Aquarius?

Tim is a tickin'.

Aquarius New Moon 2016...are you weird yet?

Feb 8, 2016
9:38am EST
19 Aquarius 15

Ah... here we are in Aquarius Lunar phase.    And you know what?   We need it.
It is time to get your weird on and you feel it.
You will find my full report here on Margaret Wendt's site.

Here is a snippet...go to link for full report.

Aquarius New Moon

When was the last time you celebrated being weird or odd?  When was the last time you felt electricity running through you?  When was the last time you had a light bulb go off ?   When was the last time you gathered with others for a communal effort?   It has been awhile.  You know it and I know it.

Inside everyone is a genius.  I’m not saying that everything you do or say is brilliant. But occasionally you get something so right it is genius.    What is THAT impulse?     In everyone there is an activist.  I’m not saying you spend every day walking into a crowd shouting, “Union, union” but there are times when you know something is so wrong that you join with others to push on the status quo.  What is THAT impulse?   In everyone is a great friend.   I’m not saying that you bend over backwards every day of the week for a compatriot but there are times when you know you need to have a laugh, a drink, a cry, a connection with a good friend.   What is THAT impulse?

Yes, welcome to Aquarius.

During the Aquarius twenty-nine day cycle we explore these impulses. But let’s own it right now….these impulses  cannot be easily explained.     Seriously, how do you explain brilliance?  Or what activates a person to take up a cause?   Or how do you explain friendship?   Ask a person to explain why they want love or money and you’ll get an easy answer. Ask a person to explain why someone wants to be big shot and you will bump into an ego answer pretty fast.   And sure it is not too hard to explain why someone chooses empowerment or sex.    But how do you explain the human spirit when it pursues friendship, genius, brilliance and activism?     How do you explain being weird?   How do you explain that electrical energy you feel when you meet someone who is not a lover but they just effin’ get some part of you?   That, my friends, is Aquarius.

Aquarius is the final air sign of the zodiac.   In Gemini, the first air sign, we are busy communicating with our neighbors, our siblings, enjoying gossip in papers and blogs.    In Libra the air is loftier and we are talking to our partner and figuring ways to find balance and reciprocity.   By the time we get to Aquarius, the air speaks to us in a universal manner.  It is how we find our humanity.     How do we connect with one another beyond the obvious?   Sure, find your wife or husband and you know how to connect.   Find your children and you know how to connect.   Find your boss and you know how to connect.  Find your minister or teacher and you know how to connect.  But how do you connect with other humans on an unspoken tribal level?   That is Aquarius.

Like the twelve-chakra system where the eleventh chakra is above the body, Aquarius sends out a beep to the universe and waits to see who beeps back.

In many ways the power of Aquarius is dismissed by people.  “I don’t like groups”  “Sure I have friends, but where am I going to meet my husband?!”  “Yeah, I guess that idea I had was brilliant but who cares I want a new house.”     It is easy to want the obvious like love, money etc.   But let me tell you, your life would be WAY more difficult if everyone marginalized Aquarius.   You would not be driving to the market, flying to Boston or surfing the INTERNET if people had not celebrated the weird ideas that brought us the car, plane and World Wide Web.  And you sure as hell would not be reading this article on a computer if it were not for Aquarian energy.    The people that made all of this so, all of them heard a beep and found their people.       What beep are you hearing?  Who are your people?

For this twenty-nine day lunar cycle I am going to ask you to not marginalize the Aquarian energy!

If you bump into a brilliant idea pursue it.  And by the way many
