Mercury in front of Sun


When most of us woke up this morning Mercury was in front of the Sun.  This happens about 13 times a century.     The last transit was in 2006 and the next one is in 2019.

I will be watching issues around communication, neighbors, connections, cleverness, writers, writing,  press with a small p....and how all of these things get a dose of practicality from the Sun in Taurus.

    Sedaj si bomo pogledali vidnost Merkurjevih tranzitov iz Slovenije v tem 21. stoletju. Oznake za vidnost Merkurjevih tranzitov iz Slovenije vse do leta 2100.
    VP - Tranzit bo viden v celoti.
    VDV - Tranzit bo viden le delno, saj bo med tranzitom Sonce vzšlo.

    Tokrat bom objavil točne čase MERKURJEVIH TRANZITOV za LJUBLJANO v tem 21.stoletju.
    Povsod upoštevan samo srednjeevropski čas UTC+1h.

    1.) MERKURJEV TRANZIT - 7.maj 2003
    Tranzit je bil pri nas viden v celoti.
    Začetek delnega tranzita je ob 6:11,
    začetek popolnega tranzita je ob 6:16,
    vrhunec tranzita je ob 8:52,
    konec popolnega tranzita je ob 11:28
    in konec delnega tranzita je ob 11:32.
    Dolžina celotnega tranzita je 5 ur in 21 minut.

    2.) MERKURJEV TRANZIT - 8.november 2006
    Tranzit pri nas ni bil viden.

    3.) MERKURJEV TRANZIT - 9.maj 2016
    Tranzit je bil pri nas viden le delno, saj je med tranzitom Sonce zašlo.

    Vzhod Merkurja med tranzitom je ob 6:58,

    konec popolnega tranzita je ob 10:56
    in konec delnega tranzita je ob 10:58.
    Dolžina vidnega tranzita je 4 ure.

  4. TRANZITNI PARI

    Tako Merkurjevi kakor Venerini tranziti se pojavljajo v parih. Pri Merkurjevih tranzitih je med dvema zaporednima tranzitoma v istem paru 3,5 leta časovne razlike. Pri Venerinih tranzitih pa je med dvema zaporednima tranzitoma 8 let časovne razlike. Obstajajo pa tudi tranzitni enojčki, to so pa tranziti kateri nimajo svojega para. V tem 21. stoletju bo kar nekaj Merkurjevih tranzitov kateri bodo kot enojčki in ne bodo imeli svojega para. V tem 3. tisočletju ne bo Venerinih tranzitnih enojčkov, se bodo pa pojavljali v 4.tisočletju.
    O vsem tem si bomo lahko sedaj nekoliko podrobneje pogledali:

    MERKURJEVI TRANZITI

    TRANZITNI ENOJČKI
    Nekateri Merkurjevi tranziti nimajo svojega para, zato so kot tranzitni enojčki in ti se bodo v tem 21. stoletju pojavljali v teh dneh:
    (13.november 2032, 7.november 2039, 14.november 2078 in 7.november 2085).

    TRANZITNI PARI
    Nekateri Merkurjevi tranziti se pojavljajo v tranzitnih parih. Med dvema zaporednima tranzitoma v istem paru pa so 3,5 leta časovne razlike. Kot tranzitni pari pa so naslednji Merkurjevi tranziti in ti se v tem 21. stoletju pojavljajo ob naslednjih datumih:
    (9.maj 2016 in 11.november 2019)
    (7.maj 2049 in 9.november 2052)
    (10.maj 2062 in 11.november 2065)
    (8.maj 2095 in 10.november 2098).

    TRANZITNI TROJČKI
    V zelo redkih primerih se pri Merkurjevih tranzitih pojavijo tudi tranzitni trojčki in med vsemi tremi so 3,5 leta časovne razlike, med prvim in tretjim tranzitom pa 7 let časovne razlike. Bili pa so v letih 1999 - 2006. Nastopili pa so ob naslednjih datumih:
    (15.november 1999, 7.maj 2003 in 8.november 2006).

    VENERINI TRANZITI

    TRANZITNI ENOJČKI
    V tem 3.tisočletju ne bo tranzitnih enojčkov pri Venerinih tranzitih, se bodo pa pojavljali v 4. tisočletju.

    TRANZITNI PARI
    V tem 3. tisočletju bodo prav vsi Venerini tranziti v parih, tranzitnih enojčkov ne bo. Med dvema zaporednima tranzitoma v istem paru pa je 8 let časovne razlike. Kot tranzitni pari pa so naslednji Venerini tranziti in ti se pojavljajo ob naslednjih datumih:

    Merkurjevi tranziti se periodično ponavljajo. Glavno periodično ponavljanje na daljše obdobje je na vsakih 46 let in 1 dan. Na toliko časa imajo prav vsi Merkurjevi tranziti povsem isto tranzitno serijo.

    VE - Transit will be visible in its entirety.
    VPR - The transit will be visible only in part, because during transit of the sun rise.
    VPS - Transit will be visible only in part, because during transit the sun set.
    N - Transit will not be visible.

    Date in time of peak Mercury geocenter transits according to the center of the Earth until the year 2100 are as follows.

  7. VISIBILITY MERCURY'S TRANSITS FROM LJUBLJANA IN 21TH CENTURY

    This time I posted the exact time of Mercury's transits for Ljubljana in the 21th century.
    Everywhere observed only Central European Time UTC+1h.

    1.) MERCURY TRANSIT - 7 May 2003
    Transit was visible in with us fully.
    Initiation of a partial transit is at 6:11,
    a perfect start to transit is at 6:16,
    the maximum of transit is at 8:52,
    at the end of a complete transit is at 11:28
    and end a partial transit is at 11:32.
    The lenght of the entire transit 5 hours and 21 minutes.

    2.) MERCURY TRANSIT - 8 NOVEMBER 2006
    Transit with use was not visible.

    3.) MERCURY TRANSIT - 9 MAY 2016
    Transit was visible for us only in part, because during the transit the sun set.
    Start partial transit is at 12:12,
    the beginning of a complete transit is at 12:15,
    the maximum of transit is at 15:56
    and the west Mercury during transit is at 19:17.
    The lenght of the visible transit is 7 hours and 5 minutes.

    4.) MERCURY TRANSIT - 11 NOVEMBER 2019
    Transit will be with us visible only partially, as the sun set during transit.
    Initiation of a partial transit is at 13:35,
    the beginning a complete transit is at 13:37,
    the maximum of transit is at 16:19 and the west during the transit of Mercury at 16:33.
    The lenght of the visible transit is 2 hours in 58 minutes.

    Transit will be with us visible in its entirety.
    Initiation of a partial transit is at 7:41,

    the maximum of transit is at 9:54,

    Transit will be visible in our country as a whole.
    Intiation of a partial transit is at 12:02,
    the beginning of a complete transit is at 12:06,
    the maximum of transit at the 15:22,
    the end of the complete transit is at 18:39
    and end a partial transit is at 18:43.
    The lenght of the entire transit is 6 hours and 41 minutes.

    the maximum of transit is at 14:40
    and the west during the transit of Mercury at 16:29.
    The lenght of the visible transit is 3 hours and 48 minutes.

    12.) MERCURY TRANSIT - 7 NOVEMBER 2085
    Transit will be with use visible in its entirety.
    Initiation of a partial transit is at 12:43,
    a perfect start to transit at 12:46,
    the maximum of transit is at 14:34,
    at the end of a complete transit is at 16:22

    14.) MERCURY TRANSIT - 10 NOVEMBER 2098
    Transit will be visible for use only part, because during transit of the sun rise.
    East Mercury in transit is at 6:58,
    the maximum of transit is at 8:17,
    at the end of a complete transit is at 10:56
    and end partial transit is at 10:58.
    The lenght of the visible transit is 4 hours.

  9. TRANSIT PAIRS

    Thus Mercury as Venus transits occur in pairs. When transit of Mercury during two consecutive Transient 3,5 years in the same pair of the time difference. Venus in transit between two consecutive Transient 8 years the time difference. There are also transit singletons, it transits which do not have a pair. In this 21st century it will be several transit of Mercury which will be as singletons and will not have its own steam. In this third millennium will not be Venus transit singletons, they will appear in fourth millennium.
    All this we can now loook in more detail:

    MERCURY'S TRANSITS

    TRANSIT SINGLETONS
    Some Mercury transits do not have a pair, so as transit singletons and you will be in the 21st century occurred in those days:
    (13 November 2032, 7 November 2039, 14 November 2078 and 7 November 2085).

    TRANSIT PAIRS
    Some Mercury transits occur in pairs of transit. Between two consecutive Transient in the same pair are 3,5 years in the time difference. As transit couples are as follows Mercury's transits and you are in the 21st century, occurring on the following dates:
    (9 May 2016 and 11 November 2019)
    (7 May 2049 and 9 November 2052)
    (10 May 2062 and 11 November 2065)
    (8 May 2095 and 10 November 2098).

    TRANSIT TRIPLES
    In very rare cases, the transit of Mercury occur transit triplets and all three have 3,5 years of the time difference between the first and third transit was 7 years the time difference. But they were in the years 1999 - 2006.
    The appearances are on the following dates:
    15 November 1999, 7 May 2003 and 8 November 2006).

    VENUS TRANSITS

    TRANSIT SINGLETONS
    In this 3rd millennium will not be singletons in transit of Venus transits they will appear in the 4th millennium.

    TRANSIT PAIRS
    In this third millennium will also all Venus transits in pairs, transit singletons will not. Between two consecutive Trainsient in the same pair was 8 years of the time difference. As transit couples are following Venus transits and they occur on the following dates:
