Final goodbye to Winter (Northern Hemisphere) Say Hello to Fall (Southern Hemisphere)

I saw this article on MessyNessyChic (whom I love btw) all about the seven churches of Antartica and something about it felt perfect for third quarter moon in Pisces Lunar Cycle on the equinox.      Really beautiful and inspiring.

Spring! Spring! Spring!

Today at 12:57pm EDT The Sun moves into Aries and the northern hemisphere moves into Spring.
Most of North America is climbing out of a very hard winter.   Then there are some of us living over here on the western edge of the continent who didn't have a winter.  SIGH.

The optimism of Spring may be a bit muted right now since the real sense of renewal and rebirth will take place on the Aries New Moon on March 30 (2:45pm EDT).    As I have indicated much in the last few weeks, we are currently in the phase of cleaning out the junk.  We should all be de-cluttering, clearing out stuff that you have been looking at for a year (or two).  That stuff  you mutter to yourself, "I've gotta get rid of that."    Clean, clean, clean.  You have 10 days to get rid of stuff.  Why?
Because on March 30th we start our new year.   We launch our intentions with a treasure map or even if you don't do a treasure map  you can write a list of intentions or affirmation.

So, why clear out stuff now?  Because no two things can occupy the same space.   If you have stuff cluttering up your home, car it is clogging up your brain as well.  It is hard to have a fresh start on March 30th if the same old same old is surrounding you.   Get rid of the things that are no longer working ALSO beliefs, judgements, opinions--perhaps even fears.  Are they still serving you?  Then why are they still in your life.   In the meantime enjoy the first day of Spring.

Deja vu 1930's again....

As we know, we are currently experiencing Uranus Square Pluto.  
We began this journey in 2008 right around the time the stock market crashed.   It will leave around 2018.  I say around cuz it comes back closer again around 2019 but basically let's say it is gone by 2018.

The last time Uranus squared Pluto was when people wore funny mustaches.
It started in 1929 and surprise surprise we had a stock market crash.   The aspects were exact in early 30's (32, 33) but didn't really leave until 1937.

Los Angeles

I went looking for the Los Angeles Chart.
I found one on astrotheme.

Well, I'm guessing the Moon in Libra yesterday was probably in the mix with Neptune (one of the earthquake planets) or maybe Uranus (the other earthquake planet) in Cancer.
Or maybe it was near Mars in Capricorn.   And finally maybe it was against the natal Moon in Aries.
I dunno, the 4.4 is now history, but I'm kind of nervous thinking a lot about next month's cardinal crosses and THIS chart.    I had zero idea there was so much cardinal energy in Los Angeles.  Probably one of the reasons why I am here!

By the way there is discussion if Fracking was involved in the quake.

The Week Ahead

Well, this is how our silly week began today.

I need to look up the chart for Los Angeles, I know it is a Virgo but I can't remember the moon. I think maybe Aries?? or was it Pisces?  I dunno I got look up.

Anyway, back to this week.

First of all, let's go over the Clusterf$%k. As you remember once a week the moon moves into a cardinal sign activating the cardinal crosses.   We watch what melts during the cluster period.

3/17 Moon oppose Uranus 6:50pm EDT
3/17 Moon square Pluto 10:11pm EDT
3/18 Moon conjunct Mars 9:07pm EDT

On Monday (3/17) Mercury moves into Pisces.  We go from heady, intellectual thinking to soft and muted intuition.   What are we ‘knowing’?

Two Weeks before Treasure Mapping

Heads up!!!!

We are two weeks out from March 30.   March 30 with be Aries New Moon.
This is not to be confused with the Vernal Equinox (3/20).

Starting on March 30 we will build our treasure maps.  

Up until that date we are clearing out the junk, the clutter, the crap.  Not just the stuff that is in our lives, cupboards and car seats...but even in our mind like broken down beliefs, opinions, approaches that NO longer serve us.  Let's get rid of it all (or die trying) between now and March 30th.

Then after March 30 at 2:45pm EDT  you can begin making your Treasure Map.

IDEALLY you will make your map within the first 3.5 days.. March 30 - April 3 5:03am EDT.

But if you can't make it by the first 3.5 days then try to make it between March 30 and April 7 4:30am EDT.

And if you can't make it in the first seven days then please, please, please make it by Full Moon April 15 at 3:42a.
If you can't make it by April 15...then skip it this year.

My feeling is the first three days is the best especially this year since the astro aspects are so rocking and rolling that your life could be too busy to get to the map.  And I don't want to see that happen.

Anyway, between now and then, clear your stuff.

Like everything --with this full moon we must consider context.

For example, if someone gives you an apple while you are poolside at a Four Seasons resort, you might say, “Thank you” and then you may or may not eat it.   However, if you were in the middle of the Gobi Desert where you had been stranded for two weeks and someone handed you an apple you would quickly cry tears of gratitude and gobble it up.    It’s not the apple it is where you are getting the apple. 

Such is the same with this weekend’s full moon.  It is not just that we are getting a big ol’ full moon it is the context of the bigger location.   Let’s consider the context.  

Context #1: From 30,000 feet and looking out.  

As everyone who reads my blog knows—we are about to hit a sh$tstorm of aspects in April.  The tension which has been building for months is palpable.  How has this month been so far?   Have you been feeling the pressure build?   

What if I told you (actually reminded you) that the building aspects speak to lifting us up out of fear?  How have you been stuck?  Where are you giving up and staying in the same ol’ same old because you are scared?   What do you know in your gut should change but you have (dear lord) a long list of reasons why it can’t change?    

Remember, the aspects centered in April speak to new breakthroughs and changes (Uranus in Aries),  transformation internally not just fixing the cosmetics (Pluto in Cap) opportunities through strong emotions (Jupiter in Cancer) and warrior actions in relationships (Mars in Libra).      That is four dynamic energies who mean business.    Wouldn’t it be nice to use it to your advantage?   

Context #2  -- the Pisces lunar cycle—release

On new moon (two weeks ago) we discussed that the Pisces lunar cycle is about trust and going with the flow.  It is about letting go and releasing.   It is also about trying to avoid the victim-perpetrator teeter-totter.  Watch the catch phrase, “why me?” Are you saying it a lot?   Do yourself a favor and make it not personal and consider, “oh, hell, why not me?” and move on.    And of course stay out of the weeds.  As you float through your days releasing if you see trouble off to the side---just keep drifting by.

Context #3: --What do I get from Virgo?

When Virgo excels it can come up with practical mechanics and solutions.   It ties up loose ends.  It dots the I’s and crosses the t’s.   It organizes.   It tidies.  It serves a greater good by organizing and keeping things ship shape on a daily schedule.    When Virgo is LAME it micromanages the world, it is an insecure nervous wreck,. It is super critical, atheist (even if it professes something else) and of course a complete total workaholic –but not effective workaholic, more like ‘making work’ workaholicsm. 

This full moon will shine light on our bad habits.  It will shine a light on our insecurities.  It will certainly shine a light on how we can improve our daily habits and where we are making work for ourselves.   

And the counterpoint to the full moon is the Sun in Pisces.  How are we flowing and letting go?  How are we in tune with spirit?  How are we processing intuition?  How do we ‘know’ something?   How are we finding our intuition and making it work for us?    Or how are we confused?  Lost?  Delusional?  How are we using “I-don’t-know” to stay small?   How are we using victim hood?  

We have a whole host of aspects coming up, use this full moon to launch your journey for the next six weeks.
