Astrology Landscape April 21 - April 25

This Week in Astrology

Treasure Map check-in. Have you made your map yet? You do know this is one of the most potent Aries lunar charts in a very, very long time. Do not let it slip by you. You have between now and May 1 to make your map.

What is a Treasure MapIs there a video I can watch? Yes. Does it work? Yes. Is the process meaningful? Yes.

Please make a map.

In the meantime, this week starts out with the Crescent Moon. We get informed in some way. During the New Moon we planted seeds that speak to new paths for the self. So what are we learning?

On the evening of the 24th (PDT), the Moon moves into the First Quarter and we will have the impetus to act. What information did we receive that now inspires more action? How does it all tie back to our intentions from that fiery New Moon?

Also, on the 25th we launch a new seven-year cycle when Uranus finally moves into Gemini, where it has not been since 1941 to 1949. Are you strapped in? We are about to go warp speed.

And on the 25th the Sun squares Pluto. These tense days, and we get two a year, are still informing us since Pluto is only a few degrees into Aquarius. Watch the news for tech stories. Watch for big news. Big tech.

Crescent Moon Phase

 Crescent — Gathering Information

We begin to receive information. We research a bit more and perhaps get feedback on the seeds we planted at the New Moon. Sometimes we receive clues about something we planted. Even if you think nothing is happening, stop and look again. Who called you? What conversation happened? Even the smallest or most mundane events during this phase can contain a message. A parking ticket. An argument with a spouse. A refund check from the phone company. Pay attention. What information is arriving and how can it help?

Hero’s Journey: The hero begins exploring the unknown and gathering allies.
Creative/Science Process: Research — gathering information and materials.

Focus on: What did you ignite and now what are you learning?   When you put “me first” how does it bring out new information?  When you think about igniting something new does it change your relationship with neighbors, siblings and neighborhood?  What about your ability to converse.   What language do you use when talking with others?  Is it gripes?  Is it airy fairy?   What are you learning about language and your self-agency?

Planetary notes:

4/20: Mercury conjunction Mars (8 AR).   Words that bring out our fighting spirit.   Actions are called out.  Language brings actions.  Blunt speech, blunt actions.

4/23: Venus conjunction Uranus (29 TA).  Out of the blue resources.   Love from unexpected corners.   Support in random ways.   Money and love get boosts in weird ways.

First Quarter Moon

April 23, 2026

7:31 pm  PDT

 First Quarter — Taking Action

Now we act on the information we received. We pursue the idea again. What hurdles have appeared involving the seeds you planted at the New Moon? We make another call, reach out to someone, mail something, or stir the pot again. Sometimes this phase reveals that the goals we planted require more effort from us. Independence may need to be asserted. Others may resist our growth, even if they believe they have our best interests at heart.

Hero’s Journey: Crossing the threshold and committing to the journey.
Creative/Science Process: Commitment — the work begins.

Focus on:   How are the seeds you planted on the new moon that speak to your self-agency now need more actions that call for strength?   How can you benefit by bold and big actions?  How can you get heroes to step up for you?  Or how can you your own superhero?   Where is love and creativity in this process?   How are you romancing you?

Planetary Notes:

4/23: Venus enter Gemini

4/25: Uranus enters Gemini (separate post

4/25: Sun square Pluto.   Stubborn tension.  Who does not want to give up something? How is this not helpful?  Groups and friends feel at odds with practical application.  Status quo feels at odds with the many.
