Astro Landscape July 25 - Aug 2

Astrology Landscape for July 25 – August 2

We have a solid week of astro action in front of us.  We start with the Gibbous Moon that launches on July 25 and focuses on expanding our world but at the same time, use tremendous discretion.  “Hmm, should I reach out to So&So?  Maybe.  Maybe not.”

Question--How has the grump been for the last few days?   I ask because Saturn has been stationary for the last week as it prepares to retrograde on the 26th.    I found it a bit soul depleting but at the same time I also felt ‘let’s – galvanize-a-new-plan’ beeping within me.    This is the first Saturn retrograde that will take place entirely in Aries and it will circle the idea of new leadership.   Who is leading?  Who is not leading?  And what is going on with our own leadership?

Also, on the 26th we launch a whole 18-month cycle when North Node enter Aquarius   I think this is not for the faint of heart because we already have Pluto in Aquarius.   Must every day be a TechBro day?  Probably.   But we all are here so I guess we all signed up for this cycle.

One more thing…. also on the 26th, the Sun opposes Pluto.   It is a once-a-year aspect, but we are still in the early era of Pluto in Aquarius so watch this space.

On the 27th the Sun gets some joy out Uranus and Neptune via sextile and trine, to which I say, ‘sure sign me up.’

Then on the 29th Venus and Mars, the two zodiac lovers are having a battle royale.   It could be very “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” . Try to stay out of the fray.

A couple hours later The Aquarius Full moon perfects and we do that for three days.

Bottom line, lot going on this week.

Gibbous — Refining the Process

We refine our information. We pick and choose, discriminate, and organize. This is the phase where we become a bit “Virgo-like.” We sort through details and ask whether something has been overlooked. Adjustments are made. Plans are refined. The goal is not to abandon the seed but to improve how it is unfolding.

Hero’s Journey: Training and preparation before the major test.
Creative/Science Process: Editing and refinement.

Focus on:

On the new moon we activated seeds where we tap our emotions and glean logic and knowledge from those emotions.  Now on Gibbous we get a 10,000 view.  How are emotions helping or hurting our ability to expand?  How can our emotions and feelings assist in bringing in a ‘foreign’ idea?  What new details do we find or logic when we actually step back?

Planetary Notes:

July 26: North Node enter Aquarius – (see separate post) We’ll be doing this for a while.
July 26:

July 27: Sun trine Neptune (4 AR)  Joy and strength, creativity are juiced up by faith and intuition.
July 27:
Sun sextile Uranus (4 GE) Boldness, unique creativity, joy and strength can be found by going the different way.

July 29: Venus square Mars (21 GE) Oh, brother.   Money, love, anger, actions, speed, micro crits all come together in a miserable way.

July 29: Sun conjunct Jupiter (6 LE).  Big Fire.  Big oxygen. Big play. Big joy.  Ego may need to be separated from self-esteem.

Full Moon – Aquarius

(6 Aquarius 30)

Full Moon — Illumination

The Full Moon reveals what has been building. Emotions tend to run high because something becomes visible that we may not have seen clearly before now. For those who have been working with the cycle, this can be a moment of realization or progress. For those who have not, emotions can spill over simply to bring awareness back to the situation. The Moon is bright and there is little room for shadows. What is reflecting to you?

Hero’s Journey: The revelation or moment of truth.
Creative/Science Process: Breakthrough — the insight appears.
