Summer Solstice

The Sun moves into Cancer which marks the beginning of Summer in the north and beginning of Winter in the southern hemisphere.

The astrological chart for the summer solstice is a little wonky.  Warrior Mars is near the Sun albeit wide.   That’s a bit unstable.  But Venus is on the Moon which softens some harshness.     Cancer Lunar cycle begins on June 27.   Some people confused with the first day of a sign and the lunar month. They rarely coincide.    That new moon will be generated in the next few days.   In the meantime, we are in the last quarter of Gemini lunar cycle and still have that business on our agenda.

Last Quarter moon:  Now we do the final adjustments to the seeds we planted on new. The final call, the final letters to send, we follow all the trails that came up that still make sense.  And we let the other parts lay fallow. It is a time of action but wise action.  It is a time for living  “The serenity prayer”

Wisdom to know the difference.

Focus on:

What actions are you taking that support spirituality?   What actions are you taking that support metaphysics?  What actions are you taking that support your own inner mystical nature?  What actions are you taking that support your intuition? 

Special focus:

6/18: Sun sextile Uranus.   Creativity, dynamic, break out independence that activates movement.

6/18: Mercury opposition Saturn.   Thinking about things that are light and silly versus thinking about things that have meaning and support beliefs. 

6/19: Sun semisquare Venus.   Money, love and values seem out of sync with goals. 

6/20: Venus sextile Neptune.  Joy that comes from out of nowhere.   Spirit offers perks that have love and values at the core.
