I know I am feeling this new moon which lands in a few hours.  I posted the full piece HERE.
It is going to be a month of thrills, spills and shocks.  The one good thing--is we are all in it together and we all will be accessing our vulnerability and our power.

Mercury Retrograde on October 31 -- Boo!

Mercury Retrograde

Mercury Direct

How perfect that this Mercury retrograde arrives on Halloween because it is a bit of a Boo!

Mercury retrogrades can be a fumble bumble time even in the relaxed signs.  But Mercury retrograde in Scorpio is as intense as one can imagine.    Our thinking can be dark, we can feel very far away from our goals.   It is a black and white energy where we find our language is “Everyone, no one, all, none, up, down, in and out”  It is an extreme language.   Like an insect who uses his feelers to find his bearings.  We use our extreme language to find our way--- what would normally be, “I’m tired” is now; “I’m exhausted.”   We hear others speak in extreme as well.   What does it mean to be exhausted instead of just tired?   Why are we so drained?   Are we doing something that we have outgrown but need our feelings to show us?   Are we ‘dead broke’ rather than ‘money is tight’?  Will this motivate us in a new way about our finances?   Are we furious instead of angry?  Is our rage a motivator?   Watch your thinking and communication.  What are your words telling you about what is going on inside you on a deep level?    Where are you feeling, ‘do or die’?   How does this inform you about what is important to you?   Our brains are finding our power.

Scorpio rules loans, taxes, inheritance, legal matters, law & order, blood, sex, death and rebirth.   Again, not particularly light topics.  It also rules plumbing.   The analogy of a rusty pipe bursting in a wall is perfect Mercury retrograde in Scorpio. What yucky stuff was going on in that pipe for many years?
With three weeks of Mercury retrograde we will be aware of rusty thinking that needs to be replaced.

The last time we had a Mercury retrograde take place completely in the sign Scorpio was fall of 2013.   What hurdles appeared during that time?  Is there a connection to now?

Of course, there will be technical snafus.    Of course, we will be down to one last nerve and someone will be standing on it.    Watch the snaps.

It is important to remember that Scorpio is a water sign and therefore water must flow.   Our emotions may get our attention and they may be extreme but they can also shift easily if we let them flow.   There is power in the feeling and the releasing.    Three weeks of strong emotions going through us and shifting our thinking  will result in a freshness after Mercury is direct and flying straight.  The process is the birth.    That new energy and thinking will be empowering and well worth whatever struggles come up between now and then.   Remember to breathe and the statement, “This too shall pass.”

This Week: Astrology

The week begins with Aries Full Moon.   Not an exact day in the country but at the same time not a hideous 3 day cycle.  See post below.

On Monday we will feel the pressure of Pluto.  Look to the news for worldly events that are that area between a rock and a hard place.  Internally we all are digging in and claiming or reclaiming our own personal power.   We may face a dragon or two.  But use the full moon to harness  strength.    Faith steps in and soothes our minds on the 15th.

We move into Disseminating on the 17th which will bring siblings, neighbors and communication styles into focus.   Followed by third quarter moon next weekend and its focus on family.   On the 21st Venus and Neptune bring out our gentle and faithful nature with accent on kindness.  Then the sun moves into Scorpio on the 23rd.

Special focus
10/14: Sun square Pluto.    Resistance to transformation and desire to just ‘phone it in’.  Is that working?   Or are the transformations so deep that they need support?  Or a lighter touch?

10/15:  Mercury trine Neptune. Faith and spirit step it up and talk to the mind.  Communication in synch with faith.

Disseminating
October 17, 2019
12:51 PDT

Focus on:  How are you sharing your understanding of the importance of neighborhoods?  How are you sharing your siblings?  How are you sharing the power of balanced communication?

Last Quarter Moon Phase
October 21, 2019
5:39am

Last Quarter moon:  Now we do the final adjustments to the seeds we planted on new. The final call, the final letters to send, we follow all the trails that came up that still make sense.  And we let the other parts lay fallow. It is a time of action but wise action.  It is a time for living  “The serenity prayer”

God, grant me the Serenity
to accept the things
I cannot change Courage to change the
things I can, and the
Wisdom to know the difference.

Focus on:
How is balance found through your family?  How do you define family?   Where is kindness in and around family?

Special Focus:
10/21 Venus Trine Neptune.  Love and spirit join.  Perhaps a gift from God appears.
10/23:  Sun enters Scorpio

Aries Full Moon: October 13

Aries Full Moon
October 13, 2019
2:07 pm PDT
20 Aries 13

The Aries full moon is an opportunity for us to connect back to self and reflect on who we are within in our relationships.    Have you gotten lost in someone else’s expectation of  you?   Do you know where you begin and another ends?    With Aries full moon we could ‘wake up’ and say, “Hey I’m not up for _______”   and if it causes a fight—so be it.   That’s Aries.    Of course the Libra side of the full moon wants to be nice.    And this is where passive aggressiveness can appear, which is problematic for all concerned.   Showing up late instead of telling the truth.   Forgetting something important.   Flaking on someone.  None good.       The answer is to tap into the power of being honest and kind.      Assess what is real and true for you and express it from a place of kindness.   This will satisfy both Aries and Libra.

In the Full Moon chart we have a square with Pluto that is almost exact.  Pluto is cracking us open where we take a moment and go down deep and find what is important.    It could take a quick second where we process a situation and realize we know what is valuable and we act Aries swift to claim it, protect it and run with it. It could be a conversation that is lost in the weeds and bringing out people’s aggression, we go to the root and get everyone back on track.  It could be finding our own super human strength and taking an action that is brave because it makes others uncomfortable.  Whatever it is, you will know it because you feel it.  Remember the full moon pulls on tides and our emotions.   This is not a subtle three days we feel it in our bodies.

Also aspecting the chart is Jupiter trine Moon (sextile to Sun)  bringing opportunity during this full moon.    The key to Jupiter is to remind yourself that no matter where you are or what you are doing you are on an adventure.     Even if on paper these three days look like the same ol’ same ol’ they are not, there is an adventure buried in your journey.   Every day wake up and say, “Today is an adventure, I wonder where I am headed?”  This will open you up to opportunities where doors swing wide that you never even noticed before now and you are ready to take on.

It is a bit of a process but if  we all, stay open, move fast, be honest and tap into kindness,  we will make the most of this full moon.
