Thanksgiving

How about that Aquarian Abe Lincoln proclaiming A Day of Thanks?  Right in the middle of the Civil War.   Yes, that sounds like an Aquarian to me.   Going for the higher ideal for sure Aquarius.  And if there can be some provactive fights around the dinner table sure that sounds Aquarius as well.  Or maybe his Moon in Capricorn thought we should all just man up and get a thick skin.  

Tread carefully today with Jupiter and Pluto.   Perhaps you will find your voice and learn something from someone else?     Heart be still.

Astrology This Week

This Astrology Week

This weekend we are in Disseminating Phase.   How are you sharing your emotions?  How are you sharing your roots?    We move into Last Quarter Moon on the 21^st and this is when we really need to double down on the Serenity Prayer.   We won’t be doing it once a day instead we will be doing it several times each day during this three day process.  Especially since Thanksgiving is right smack in the middle of Third Quarter.    

On the 21^st The sun moves into Sagittarius. 

Okie Dokie.   A shout out to my fellow brethren Centaurs.  We are moving with quite a force these days, aren’t we?   This is all about Saturn, Baby.   We had better be practicing what we teach.    This is not just for those of us with Sag Sun it also applies to our cousins with Moon in Sag and Sag Ascendant who had also better be rising their bars.  It is not good enough to just shoot off our mouths.  We are held to a higher measuring stick.   So, let’s hold our tongue where we need to hold it and let’s walk our talk when we shoot off our mouths.   I found a link you all may want to read.  

On November 21^st we may find ourselves bumping into something that needs to be released.    It might not be a big magillah but it could get our attention.  

But on November 24 we go right into our first wave between Jupiter and Pluto.   Oh, lord.   Peace at any cost?  How is that working out?   What things will we have to shift in order to release and then grow?    And did I mention this is on Thanksgiving?  Yeah, why not.   Pass the peace. 

And finally on the 25^th we move into Balsamic and we begin to release our wishy washy and our indecisiveness.     On the 29^th we will have Sag New Moon.   Time to get our arrows out and start target practicing!   I will come back after Thanksgiving break.    In the meantime, gobble gobble.

Last Quarter Moon Phase

Last Quarter moon:  Now we do the final adjustments to the seeds we planted on new. The final call, the final letters to send, we follow all the trails that came up that still make sense.  And we let the other parts lay fallow. It is a time of action but wise action.  It is a time for living  “The serenity prayer”

Focus on:

What actions are you taking that support your strength?  What actions are you taking that support your sel- esteem?  What actions are you taking that give you pride?  What actions are you taking that support your creativity?  Is it okay for you to be a big shot?   How about that energy? Can you support it?

 

Special focus:

11/21: Sun enters Sagittarius

11/21: Sun/Jupiter: exaggeration.  Spreading out too much.   Being sloppy.  

11/22: Sun/Pluto.   Hard time letting go.  Releasing is difficult.   Righteousness gets in the way of transformation.

11/23: Mercury/Saturn.  Thinking is critical and intense.  Short dark stormy thoughts.  Cutting tongues wag.

Balsamic Moon Phase

Balsamic:   We let go.  By releasing we can prepare for the new. 

Focus on We release our wishy washy.  We release our co-dependency.  We release hiding in the grey?  We release passive aggressiveness.  We release indecisiveness. 

Special focus:

11/25: Venus/Pluto.  Values feel empowered.   Love feels empowered.  Love of Power.  And Powerful love.   Money gets a boost.  Value transformation.

11/25: Venus/Jupiter.  Money and love is not in synch with opinions and beliefs.  What is true?  

11/26: Mercury/Uranus.  Brilliant thinking.  Brilliant conversation.  Smart and breakthroughs in thoughts and speech.

Only one planet changes direction during the Scorpio lunar month and it is Neptune.    Neptune spends half the year  retrograde.  I think a case can be made that Neptune likes being retrograde because he is so busy staying in touch with the Universe that he always needs to go back and fine tune intuition, faith and our humanitarian hearts. 

Of course when Neptune misbehaves he can be very fuzzy perhaps delusional and attract liars and lying and all that stuff we don't know for fact.  But the truth about Neptune is no matter how much he brings out liars etc... he always knows it, he just deliberately tunes out what he knows perhaps to teach his humanitarian heart a lesson or two.   Again that is a misbehaving Neptune and we have all seen a lot of twisted up Neptune since June 16 when he turned retrograde.   

This particular Neptune Retrograde began when Neptune hit the shadow point in April (2016).  Then it turned retrograde at 12 degrees of Pisces on June 13.  It turns Direct on November 19 at 9 degrees and it will leave this shadow period completely in March 2017 when it hits 12 again.   If any of you have planets at that degree in the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sag and Pisces) you don't need me to tell you about your crisis in faith.   Also, watch the booze and drugs, please!   Those of you with planets at those degrees in the other two water signs (Cancer, Scorpio) how have you been melting down your rough sides?  How has spirit stepped in and taken care of you?  Perhaps you need to share those stories to help the people around you! 
     
 For the rest of us, Neptune is in one of our houses and once he goes direct on the 19^th we will have the opportunity to exercise our faith and humanitarian love and of course we can take our intuition out for a drive and see what we  learned since June or maybe since April.    If there are any cobwebs around our faith or our humanitarian sides we will probably shake them off by March 2017, certainly fingers cross we clear the debris.

The week starts off with Taurus full moon.  For three days the accent will be on getting our practical on.    We are building on our reality while letting go of that which needs to be dumped.   Bit by bit by bit by bit…….repeat…

After the full moon we move into Disseminating 

On the 18^th Mercury and Neptune join up will we be inspired?  Will we be confused?   Then on the 19^th Neptune turns direct after six months of retrograde.    What have we learned about our faith in that time?

Have you heard it is the closest supermoon in 70 years?   

Yes, this is a super moon.  Yes it will be a big one in the sky.   This is our third super moon in a row.   Are we feeling the tension yet?  Supermoons are closest to Earth and astrologer Richard Nolle has tied the supermoons to earthquakes.  Okay.  Maybe there will be a quake on land somewhere but for the rest of us, don’t underestimate the power of emotional earthquakes.

The Full Moon in Taurus is asking us to be practical and earth bound.   This is not a time to be airy fairy or fuzzy.   We are called to be realistic.  What is my realistic move?   Where have I been so wishy washy and ‘lost’ and now I need a practical move?  

The Sun in Scorpio as we discussed on New Moon continues to push us towards our transformation.  If our vision has been blocked the Taurus full moon can illuminate in a practical manner where our transformation would serve us.    Emotionally we know we need to make the move but now we can see a practical path.  A step by step way out. 

Additionally the Moon is late trine to Pluto in Capricorn which again puts the emphasis on Death&Rebirth.   Letting stuff go will be the practical move.    Some of us may have a death grip on something that really needs to be released.   Let the three day Full phase grease up your grip so you can release it.   

It may be emotional like all full moons but it is not water-works-crying ‘poor me’ energy instead it is a galvanizing your energy and using it to accomplish something new.   Let this Taurus Full Moon empower you.
