Saturn Station Direct: November 27

Saturn Station Direct

4/6/25      Saturn enters shadow (25 Pisces 09)

5/24/25    Saturn enters Aries

7/12/25    Saturn station retrograde (1 Aries 56)

9/1/25      Saturn re-enters Pisces

11/27/25  Saturn stations direct (25 Pisces 09)

2/13/26    Saturn re-enters Aries

2/20/26    Saturn conjunct Neptune 0 Aries

3/2/26      Saturn exit shadow (1 Aries 56)

Every year, Saturn spends about four months retrograde. Got it. Saturn stays in one sign for roughly two and a half years. Got it. Saturn meets up with Neptune in a conjunction every 36 years. Also got it.

But Saturn forming a conjunction with Neptune at zero Aries once every 7,000 years?

Got it—gulp—got it.

So here’s where we are: on November 27, Saturn ends its retrograde, which began in July. It slows down at the same degree it held back on April 6. Think back to last April—what was happening in your life around responsibility, discipline, and the work you were trying to hold together? How did that effort shift or morph when July rolled around? When Saturn returned to Pisces in September, did old themes from late 2024 or early 2025 resurface? Saturn keeps a checklist, and we’re cycling through it.

From here, Saturn moves forward, heading toward Aries on February 13, and almost immediately forms that rare conjunction with Neptune on February 20 at zero Aries. The last time this happened was around 4361 BCE, when humanity was transitioning from hunter-gatherer life toward early agricultural settlements. How that translates now? Hard to say. On this one, we’re essentially flying without a net for the Saturn–Neptune–Zero Aries conjunction. Okie dokie.

Saturn is the builder—it tinkers, focuses, commits, and respects hard work. As it wraps up its time in Pisces, we’re refining our dreams. We’re inspired to show up, to do the work that responds to collective hurts or personal longing—the hard work of making our inner visions real. We feel a responsibility to connect with faith, intuition, and metaphysics. We labor for what is tender.

And when Saturn returns to Aries, the tone shifts: boldness, authenticity, independence. Our inner warrior steps forward—direct, brave, and guided by the heart

Astrology Landscape for November 22nd to 30th.

We are still in the Scorpio New  Phase until 11/24 PST.  Which means we can continue to plant seeds that speak to depth, intuition and release.

There are some lovely aspects that are uplifting both in the new, cresent and first quarter (that arrives 11/27).

On November 27 Saturn stations direct where it will now officially begin its ending days in Pisces then on November 29 Mercury stations direct where every single one of us will feel relief cuz you know this Mercury retrograde has been a piece of work.

This focus:    What do we do when we are quiet?  Can we tap a greater force?  Can we find our flow?   What is speaking to you?   What do you want to jettison?   What do you want to pack up and put on a truck and say goodbye to?   How are you letting your intuition talk to you?  What is staring at you in black and white?   How can you clear space for new to emerge?

Planetary notes:

11/22: Mercury trine Saturn (25 Pisces). Practical thinking is inspired.   The weight of responsibility is do-able.

11/22 Mercury trine Jupiter (24 Cancer).  Big ol’ ideas, big ol’ opinions that are inspired.  Joyful thinking.   Big communication brings opportunities.

11/23 Sun sextile Pluto (1 Aquarius) Doing something with friends and groups.  Fresh ideas come from groups, and we bring novel ideas to others.  Joy is baked in.

Crescent Moon Phase

November 24, 2025

1:25am PST

Crescent:  We will receive information, we will research a bit more, perhaps get feedback on stuff that we planted on new.  Perhaps get some information that will help down the road on a seed we planted a while ago.  We can collect some data now.  Even if you think you are not getting information, stop, and re-look at everything.  Who called you?  Even the silliest things when they come up during Crescent are noteworthy.  A parking ticket.  An argument with a spouse?  A refund check from the phone company?  No matter how mundane it arrives, consider it as message.  How can this information help you?

Focus on: What are we learning about our executive abilities?  What are we learning about ambition?  What are you learning about taking on responsibility?

Planetary notes:

11/24: Mars square North Node (14 Pisces).  Watch any hypocrisy.  Where is intuition?   Where’s the liars? Some info comes forward.   We may not know all the answers but stay close to the journey.

11/24: Mercury conjunct Venus (22 Scorpio) The brain is softer.  A gentle quiet approach to communication and thinking is advantageous. Lean into love.

11/26: Venus trine Jupiter (24 Cancer)  Expansive, generous,  kindness all go far.  What forms our opinions? Is love and joy in the mix? Give it a shot.

11/26: Venus trine Saturn (25 Pisces) love of work is pronounced.  Showing up and being responsible uplifts the psyche.

11/27: Saturn station direct 25 Pisces 09 (see separate).

First Quarter Moon

November 27, 2025

10:58pm PST

Focus on:   What actions are you taking that are influenced by faith and spirituality?  What actions are you taking that are steeped in intuition?  What actions are you taking that fold in dreams or intuition?  What actions are you taking that are a reaction or inspired by fantasy?

Planetary Notes:

11/29: Mercury station direct 20 Scorpio 42 (see separate)

11/29: Venus oppose Uranus (29 Taurus) Deep in our awareness is a need to evolve.  It may be centered out of love.  The shift could come from out of the blue.   This is the final time these two tangle in Scorpio and Taurus; note stubbornness, is it a friend or foe?

11/30: Venus trine Neptune (29 Pisces) love and values are being influenced in mysterious ways.  Is it a dream or a vision?

11/30 Venus enter Sagittarius

November 19 -- Scorpio New Moon. Go For The Flow

Welcome to Scorpio New Moon and 29-day lunar month.   And when I say welcome, I really mean “welcome”.

Before talking about this new moon, I need to reflect on an astrological period between 2008-2015 called The Cardinal Climax.    During that cycle, several of the outer planets were duking it out in the cardinal signs.  It was a hard period and was extra difficult during the Libra lunar months given the inner planets were usually in the mix.    It was so rough that often I would start my Scorpio report with, “Thank god we are now in light and breezy Scorpio”.   I would joke about it because rarely does one find themselves grateful for ‘lighter’ Scorpio.

I bring all of that up now because 2025 has been an intense cuckoo, we-are-doing-this-for-the-first time-in- 50,100, 1000 years-astrological period.  So tweaked has it been that this Scorpio new moon with many uplifting aspects make it a very welcoming lunar month, indeed.

Uranus Sextile Neptune - Round 2 -- November 20

Uranus sextile Neptune

August 28, 2025 (1 Aries)

November 20, 2025 (29 Taurus)

July 15, 2026 (4 Aries)

January 15, 2027 (1 Aries)

June 6, 2027 (6 Aries)

We have a New Moon on November 19, and I’ll be posting my Scorpio lunar report in the next couple of days. Normally, I would save any upcoming aspects for that report, but this Uranus–Neptune sextile rolling in on November 20 deserves its own spotlight. Many of us are probably already feeling the early ripples of this outer-planet interaction.

On November 20, Neptune back in Pisces and Uranus back inTaurus, form their second sextile. Their first connection was in August, when they met through Aries and Gemini. This time the terrain is different: Neptune in Pisces invites us into the spiritual, the metaphysical, and the unworldly, while Uranus in earthy Taurus grounds us in practicality, sustainability, and what supports security and material stability.

It’s almost as if the universe is offering these two planets a final reward for their long stretches through these signs—seven years for Uranus and fourteen for Neptune—letting them uncover the last treasures hidden in Taurus and Pisces. And for the record, Uranus–Neptune sextiles are rare. The last time they met in this aspect was 1966–1968, in Virgo and Scorpio.

We can expect a wave of inspiration and quiet revolution between 2025 and 2027. Our world—and our personal lives—could look very different by August 2026 than they do now. Hope may spring eternal, but this is a genuine encouraging and invigorating aspect, one many of us will be glad to welcome.

Astrology Landscape November 8 - 19

Disseminating

November 8 2025

4:34am PDT

Disseminating: Reflect on what has transpired this month and earlier.  What have you learned?   How can you share some of your knowledge?  What past experiences are you sharing?  Are you in the need to teach?  Or is it find a teacher?   Maybe we find a rabbi or a minister or therapist who gives us more insight.

Focus on:   How are you sharing the importance of letting emotions flow? How are you sharing the power of nurturing?  How are you sharing your home?  How are you sharing the importance of ‘cozy’?

Planetary Notes:

11/8: Sun trine North Node (16 PI).  Feeling in sync with the world and coincidences is inspiring.   Is our higher self in conversation with us?  How is it getting us fired up?

11/9: Mercury station retrograde (6 Sag 51) (see separate)

11/11: Jupiter station retrograde (25 Cancer 09) (see separate)

Last Quarter Moon Phase

November 12, 2025

9:28 pm PDT

Last Quarter moon:  Now we do the final adjustments to the seeds we planted on new. The final call, the final letters to send, we follow all the trails that came up that still make sense.  And we let the other parts lay fallow. It is a time of action but wise action.  It is a time for living “The serenity prayer”

God, grant me the Serenity
to accept the things
I cannot change Courage to change the
things I can, and the
Wisdom to know the difference.

Focus on:

What final actions can you take based on the seeds that you planted on New Moon.   How can you show up and be bold?  How can you show up and be strong?   Where do you need to act that supports your new moon goals around relationships and is dramatic?   How is your passion guiding your actions?  Where are you applying ‘Go Big or Go Home?’

Planetary Notes:

11/12: Mars conjunct Mercury (6 SA).  Mouthiness abounds.  How are people and their big opinions helping the cause or just running over everyone?   How is all this directing actions?  Who is walking their talk?

.

Balsamic Moon Phase

November 15, 2025

7:38pm PDT

Balsamic:   We let go.  By releasing we can prepare for the new.

Focus on:  How are you releasing your passivity?  How are you releasing your ‘waffling’?  How are you releasing passive-aggressiveness?    How are you releasing your non-committal energy?   How are you releasing peace-at-any-cost?

Planetary Notes:

11/16: Sun trine Jupiter (25 CA).  Personal philosophy can be energizing when it transform any squirrelly emotions.

11/17: Sun trine Saturn (25 PI).  Actions that are structured, sensible, responsible are uplifting and joyful.  Intuition can be guiding.

11/17: Mercury sextile Pluto (1 AQ) Mercury sextile Pluto (1 AQ) Dynamic thoughts and communication that are broad and appealing and heal from a new depth.  Round 2.

11/18: Mercury enters Scorpio.   Returning to deep Scorpio thoughts for the next two-three weeks.

11/19: Venus trine north node (15 PI) Intuition is high, values are supported.  Finding humanity is okay and may bring joy.  Imagine that.

11/19: Mercury oppose Uranus (29 TA).  Is the thinking and communication going deep enough?  Is it uncovering a solution that is practical?  Round 2.

11/19: Mercury trine Neptune (29 PI) Thinking and communicating that almost feels channeled.  Intuition is very high.  Round 2

Jupiter Retrograde: November 11

Jupiter Retrograde

November 11, 8:41am PST

8:41am PST

Aug 17 Jupiter enters shadow 15 Cancer 05

Nov 11 Jupiter station retrograde 25 Cancer 09

Mar 11 Jupiter station direct 15 Cancer 05

June 6 Jupiter exits shadow 25 Cancer 09

“Really, Jupiter?  You gotta retrograde, too?”   Let’s talk details.  Jupiter is considered an outer planet.  It is outside the asteroid belt and is classified a gas planet, which is the key differences between inner and outer planets.   Jupiter spends ONE year in a sign and therefore takes twelve years to go through the zodiac.  On June 9th Jupiter entered Cancer, it was last here in 2013-2014 (June to July) and earlier 2001-2002 (July – Aug).     You may want to consider what was going on in your life at those times and if there are any similar themes speaking to you now.

Of course, once a year Jupiter retrogrades for about five months and on November 11 Jupiter will station retrograde and travel from 25 back to 15 degrees of Cancer.   For those folks who have planets between these degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn you will feel the influence of Jupiter.   Watch out if you are being too big in endeavors, commitments, emotions and opinions.   Jupiter in all his gassy-ness can pump-anything-up.   In Cancer there is an accent on emotions and family and feeling the need to be ‘secure’ as defined by the individual.   Some of those big emotions might have legitimate reasons.  However, the answer or remedy could benefit by a calm, quiet response.   During this retrograde we will be processing our emotions and our opinions (including but not limited to, our opinions of our emotions).  If you know your chart look at the house with Cancer and see what themes feel “big”.     Once the retrograde concludes in March we could feel more resolved.

The Final Mercury Retrograde of 2025: Nov 9th - 29th

The final Mercury retrograde of 2025

Mercury Retrograde

Nov 9, 11:01am PST

(6 Sagittarius 51)

10/21: Mercury enters shadow (20 Scorpio 42)

10/21: Mercury enters Sagittarius

11/9:   Mercury stations retrograde (6 Sag 51)

11/18: Mercury re-enters Scorpio

11/29: Mercury stations direct (20 Scorpio 42)

12/11: Mercury re-enters Sagittarius

12/17: Mercury exits shadow (6 Sag 51)

Here we are at the final Mercury retrograde of the year.   You know the rules.  Slow down.    Double check your work.   Plan more time to get anywhere.

Mercury is not just in one sign on this retrograde, it straddles two: Sagittarius & Scorpio.

When Mercury is in Sagittarius the emphasis is on travel, big ideas, things that are foreign, debates, philosophy and upper education.  Mercury is in its detriment in the sign Sagittarius which means the nature of the sign rubs up against the nature of the planet.  Mercury likes speed, rationality, getting the facts, clarity; a basic solve the problem and move on approach.  Sag is always looking beyond data and seeks wisdom and the bigger picture.   Sag can take one fact and see many ideas in it and ponder them all.   Mercury just wants to move on.  During the retrograde when Mercury is in Sag, our opinions and thoughts can go long.  There could be a helluva lot of debates on anything from where to have dinner to the nature of the universe.    Finding the bigger picture to everything is fine, but when Mercury is retrograde it could be hard getting our tasks done, like arriving at the airport on time.   Especially with Mercury in long winded Sag.  Also during the Sag retro you may want to watch the judgy tone. Just sayin’.

When Mercury is in Scorpio the thinking is deep and probing.  Uncovering facts and motives is game on for Scorpio.  Mercury retrograde can bring out bumps, perhaps stuff we missed a few weeks ago when Mercury was in Scorpio before the retrograde.  How was our thinking intense then and how are we revisiting it now?  Did our communication get dark?  Were we aware of patterns which focused on victims and perpetrators?  Did master controllers get our attention?  Was criminal behavior from thug on the street to corporate scandals in the news and in our brains?  Then and now we could be exploring conversations around lawsuits, taxes and sexuality.  During the retrograde return to Scorpio we may uncover more issues in those matters that bring additional insights.

As I mentioned in an earlier post this Mercury retrograde is going to be informing all of us each time it connects through aspect with the outer planets AND it will do it three times between October 24 and December 13.   If something comes up around any of those dates, we may see a repeat at the other exact dates.  Not necessarily the exact same situation but the theme may repeat both in world news and personal lives.

Before the retrograde:

10/24: Mercury trine Jupiter (24 CA 37)

10/25: Mercury trine Saturn (26 PI 06)

10/29: Mercury trine Neptune (29 PI 50)

10/29: Mercury oppose Uranus (00 GE 21)

10/30: Mercury sextile Pluto (1 AQ 26)

During the retrograde:

11/17: Mercury sextile Pluto (1 AQ 39)

11/19: Mercury oppose Uranus (29 TA 31)

11/19: Mercury trine Neptune (29 PI)

11/20: Mercury conjunct Sun - inferior (28 SC 18)

11/22: Mercury trine Saturn (25 PI 11)

11/22: Mercury trine Jupiter (24 CA 56)

After the retrograde:

12/6: Mercury trine Jupiter (24 CA 08)

12/7: Mercury trine Saturn (25 PI 14)

12/10: Mercury oppose Uranus (28 TA 39)

12/11: Mercury trine Neptune (29 TA 22)

12/13: Mercury sextile Pluto (2 AQ 12)

This is going to be quite a retrograde and when it ends on November 29th, we will no doubt thank everything that is holy that it has ended.  By the time we get to December 17 when Mercury clears the shadow we will all feel lighter and ready to wrap up the year and head to 2026.
