Capricorn Full Moon

3 Capricorn 28
At this full moon ask yourself some questions:
How are you spending your days?
What is your focus?
What do you do with every hour of your day?
How do you spend your time?
This is not rhetorical. Seriously, how do you spend your time?
In astrology, Saturn, the ruling planet of Capricorn, also has the Greek name, Cronus which means ‘Father Time”. Saturn and Capricorn both speak to time. Saturn asks about our time management and Capricorn who is driven by results that he/she understands can only be achieved by focused efforts over time. If Capricorn knows anything it is about how to get results and at the full moon in Capricorn, just like the New Moon in Capricorn (January 12, 2021) we understand in our souls that we are the CEOs of our life. Our inner CEO tells us how we use our time. No one else but us calls the shots even if we must answer to others – our response is determined by our inner CEO. Is our inner CEO a complainer? Is our inner CEO a brawler filled with anger? Is our inner CEO a peacemaker at any cost? Is our inner CEO fear based and doubles down in worry all the time? Is our inner CEO thin skinned and always protecting ego? Why ask these questions now? Well, you can’t get a full moon without the Sun opposing the Moon. It is on the Capricorn full moon where we use the very responsive, sensitive and moody Sun in Cancer to tap our emotions and inform us if our CEO is really on the right track. Perhaps this full moon for example, we wake up and wonder, “Do I get into brawls all the time because it makes me feel energized? Maybe there is another way to get energized without the fighting? Maybe I go hunting for bear because I want to feel alive?” On the Capricorn full moon, our emotions (guided by Cancer) talk to our psyches, or our psyches talk to our emotions and both of them are wondering about our inner CEO’s job performance. Does it need a new approach? Are we using pragmatism to enhance our life or are we using it to marginalize our goals? Perhaps Jupiter can help us.
Jupiter is pronounced in this full moon chart with a sextile to the Moon in Capricorn and a trine to Sun in Cancer. Jupiter brings opportunities and, in this case, Jupiter is in Pisces tapping into something bigger and mysterious. Synchronistic events or moments will have opportunities baked into them. Jupiter in Pisces sextile Moon in Capricorn speaks to something practical but can be joyful. It could be a super smart idea or new approach. Or we have a success that has taken a long time in the making that shows up. It could just be a belief system that is injected with new vision. The Sun in Cancer has a strong gut and can coax the moon, like a good partner, ‘Hey, let’s go for it, let’s embrace this opportunity” It is also possible that what comes up will not have fruition during the three day full moon window but it could lay the ground work for a later success. Remember, with Capricorn or Father Time nothing is ever wasted.
Amplifying the unworldliness to this full moon three-day phase is Neptune stationing retrograde on the 25th. Dreams and daydreams could take us to places that we have forgotten or have yet to experience. Neptune always encourages a deep dive even if we think we are just going to _(blank)___ for a quick second or moment and then we realize it’s hours later and we are in Alice’s rabbit hole. Between Jupiter and Neptune and the pronounced Pisces, there is a journey in this Capricorn full moon even if we don’t leave our backyard.
As you wonder about your adventure there is one last thing to consider on the Capricorn full moon
“No one on his deathbed ever said, ‘I wish I had spent more time on my business.’” - Arnold Zack
