December 23 – January 2 

 

The waxing moon continues with the Crescent phase landing on December 23.    Friendships and groups are highlighted as we ponder our visions and our future and consider ‘our peeps’.    We will be forgiven if we feel a little ‘off’ on the 23^rd with the Venus square Neptune.    Starting on the 24^th, Venus is all about the love of practicality.   Fluff begone.     The 29^th could be sharp conversations especially where dreams and visions collide with reality.  Or perceived reality.   In the meantime, our thoughts about being more independent are sound.  Actions that are inspired about humanity are elevated and given the green light. 

 

Late on Dec 31 and early on the Jan 1 our thoughts take a moment or two to get it together.  Same with our conversations and beware of people and their big yarns given Mercury square Neptune can be rife with exaggeration.    But by later in the day on the 1^st Mercury enters practical Capricorn where it will end the silly conversations and instead focus on responsibility and commitments.  

Also on Jan 1 Venus sextiles the North node and can help us  find inspiration with humanitarian causes and purposes and at the very least can remind us of the good in humans.

12/24: Venus enters Capricorn.  Values that are practical including love and money are showcased for the next month.

12/29: Mars sextile N. Node (11 PI) – Actions that inspire our inner psychic and sage. We find humanity through the arts. 

12/29 : Mercury square Saturn (26 PI) Watch your words. A small sharp comment can cut like a blade. Lies and exaggerations hit a wall. Accountability surfaces.
