Hard to Believe but we are still in Full Moon....

I know I am feeling the full moon even though we are on the backside of the phase.  I am guessing part of this lingering punch is due to the Jupiter’s change of direction.   What should we expect?  Afterall a direct Jupiter on a Full Moon in Sag is like riding a boogie board behind the QE 2.   Big ass waves are in the wake of Jupiter turnabout.

Just before we move into Disseminating phase on the 13^th Mercury will be in a small cranky annoying aspect with Uranus.   Do not be surprised by disruptive communication, chaotic talks and your brain feels like it is ADHD.   Then later Mercury gets into it with Neptune.  But at the same time Mercury has a nice aspect with Jupiter.   Honestly, that’s just too many planets pushing on Mercury imo.      I do not expect the 13^th to be a normal smooth running day.   Big at times, crazy and probably lots of stupid conversations and sure some misguided thinking. 

On the 15^th Sun and Saturn get into their once a year push pull.  Peter Pans will die on the stake.   Don’t look. Just clean up your act and walk your talk. 

And Neptune turns retrograde on the 16^th.    Sure, why not.   See separate post.  Also pour wine and find Nino Rota soundtracks.

Focus on:  How are you sharing your like mindedness with other groups?   How are you melting into other groups?  How are you sharing your friends and friendships?  Where are you sharing your iconoclastic nature? 

Special focus:

6/13: Mercury trine Jupiter.   Expanded thinking.  International thinking.   Breaking out of  local and going more wordly—in conversation and thinking. 

6/13: Mercury square Neptune.  Dissolved thoughts.   Conversations that don’t line up.  Disillusioned thoughts.

6/15: Sun opposition Saturn.  The value in restriction must be found in the brain first.  Frivolous behaviors versus meaningful beliefs.   Where is the balance?

Half way through the Gemini lunar cycle we get the gift of fire with the Sagittarius full moon.    For two weeks we’ve been processing data and expressing versatility.  We’ve been light on our feet, going left, going right, doing whatever we can to get through our days and all the time we are processing information. 

We are processing actions of various people, including how people respond to others and to us.  We are processing how things work & how things don’t work.  It has been an analytical period.  We aren’t particularly emotional, we are just processing.  NOW on the fiery full moon we get a boost of passion.   We take the information we have observed and put it up on a bigger platform.  We get a vision from the stuff we have observed.     Someone said something that now could be helpful for this bigger idea, cause or goal.   Or we saw something that we wondered about and now it makes sense to help a bigger idea, cause or goal.   The fire of Sag full moon elevates our thinking.  We can feel optimistic, fun, excited about something.     And with the Sun/Moon in decent aspects with Jupiter we should get an even extra boost from the Universe.   Especially given Jupiter turns direct within an hour of the full moon.    

Launch booster rockets!     Green lights ahead, right? 

Yes and no…. There is a wet blanket in the mix, Saturn.  For the last two years Saturn has been trudging through Sag.    First order of business with this placement is hypocrisy.   If anyone is saying one thing but doing another –people are noting the hypocrisy.  They may not say anything but they are observing it.   Saturn moves into Capricorn in December so this is our last aspect that Saturn can make to a full moon in Sag for close to 30 years.   So, hypocrisy or let’s water it down to “Walk Your Talk” will be up for everyone to see who is doing it and who is not.   And on this full moon things might get said.    

At the same time Saturn likes to do only one thing “Get Sh** done.”    So, there we are feeling emboldened with Jupiter direct on Sag full moon but Saturn is saying, “Ah, not so fast”.

If you are worked up, great, Sag Moon is doing his thing. But you need to put it through a sensible filter.   If your opinions or ideas are big, great that’s what Jupiter likes but you may need to think your plans through.  Do they walk your own talk?   And rhetoric could be High High High on this full moon.   If you want to run with okay.  But you may want to cool your jets, feel the passion get motivated but be measured.   Watch for zealots in the news btw.    And big ass money stuff. Something over the top. 

At the same time, we’ve got Jupiter and Saturn all over this Full Moon we also have mystical Neptune with all his fuzziness in the mix.  “Oh, for goodness sake, who invited him?”    Again, the only way to keep the confusion ( or lies) at bay is by slowing stuff down and asking questions.  Or getting quiet and go into prayer or meditation.    All may not be what it seems but the connection between you and your maker is real.   Just don’t go crazy big or crazy loud.    Don't say a big YES when maybe it should be a small Yes.   

In short, your intellect has been processing stuff and you have been an observant student.  The full moon kicks you up to teacher.   Take caution to not tell everyone a thing or two. Instead feel the power of ‘ knowing’ stuff.  Meditate on bigger pictures.  Meditate on bigger visions or goals.    And find your sensible side.    Other note, watch the snark.   And --go out in nature.  A hike, trip to the beach, lake, back yard garden.  Get out there and let nature help open a door for you.

Jupiter Direct

Jupiter Direct:  No Small Deal

On June 9 at 10:02am EDT 

Jupiter turns direct at 13 Libra 12.    

Once Jupiter turns direct it will be wrapping up its stay in Libra where it will move into Scorpio this October and will not return to Libra for a dozen years.   Hmm?    Let’s do the math.    Do you think the following is a coincidence? 

Venus the ruling planet of Libra gets into a bitch slap with Pluto a few hours before Gemini New Moon.     Jupiter the planet of expansion and bridging & learning is in the sign Libra and makes a wide trine with the Sun & Moon in Gemini New Moon chart.   Gemini the sign of communication and getting data and information and reaching out will be pronounced for 29 days.     Jupiter turns direct in Libra the sign of relationships ruled by Venus who is stinging from the interaction with Pluto who is demanding transformation and letting go which technically happened in the balsamic phase of Taurus which is the letting go phase.  

That is a lot of astrological data to throw at you but you should see a theme.  Any yuck that comes up that speaks to love and money and values (Venus) and relationships (Libra) should be processed with Gemini skills and curiosity and feedback so that we can get our relationships (Libra) figured out before Jupiter leaves Libra the sign of relationships in October and will not return in 12 years.     And for a little extra juju, Jupiter will be turning direct during the Sagittarius Full moon and yes, yes, yes Sag’s ruling planet is Jupiter!   That’s a lot of astro mumbo jumbo—I know but trust me, the Universe means business.  

The Universe is pushing us to get on with it and expand our relationships and build new roads or build new relationship skills.   Jupiter turned retrograde back in February.    Perhaps during the retrograde (Feb 6 to June 9^th ) we have had thoughts about relationships that are frankly ‘off’.   For example did some thoughts come up like:   “I will never find anyone”  “I am not good enough to have someone who treats me better.”  “I’m broken and this is the best I can have”  “Why is God punishing my heart?” “I’m too old, I’m never meeting anyone”  Or what about  your ability to find balance in your life, what misguided thoughts have come up about that since the retrograde?   Or any other thoughts that are yucky and righteous (Jupiter) and if you are unclear what is righteous, where do you think you know it all in your relationship and finding balance?  You may be wrong.

And for those of you who are doing the bad, bad, bad part of Libra, for the last 9 months, which is not making a decision and sitting on the fence about something connected to relationships, partners or finding balance.      Well, let’s see if you can finally come to some sort of resolution between now and October.  Or of course you can let Jupiter just move into Scorpio.  Scorpio always knows how to find the black and white answer in swirling mess of grey.  There will be a ruthlessness in October.   Just sayin’

Gibbous Moon

This week we start with Gibbous Phase.    Gibbous is when we double check if we are neglecting anything or missing anything.  It is the waxing moon just before the full phase.    That energy of not ‘wanting to miss something’ is a gift if you think about it.   It is focused perhaps on something we don’t always focus on although in this case our focus is on balance and relationships. 

Focus on:

What are you neglecting that impacts your balance?   What are you missing in your relationship?  What are you missing in your ability to be gracious?  What are you missing in your ability to negotiate?

Special Focus:

6/5: Venus semi square Neptune.  Love is muted or not accurate.   Rose colored contact lenses are clouding vision.  Money is wonky. 

6/6: Venus enters Taurus

6/6:  Mercury enters Gemini

 On Friday June 9^th we move into Full Moon in Sagittarius.
