Happy Taurus New Moon
Hello, Friends.
Happy Taurus New Moon. I apologize, Mercury retrograde got the better of me, well actually a major sinus attack got to me. I was not able to put up Taurus New Moon until now (about 8 hours after new moon launched).
Are you ready for a personal revolution? Are you ready to do it bit by bit? It is happening. You can feel it. I know I am, between sneezes.
Here's the article.

This Week in Astrology
This weekend we move into the Balsamic Phase of the Aries Lunar cycle. We are in the release phase of this lunar month. It is all about releasing.
Balsamic Moon Phase
April
22, 2017
11:14
pm EDT
Balsamic: We let
go. By releasing we can prepare for the
new.
Focus
on We release our fuzzy. We release our victim. We release our confusion. We release martyr.
Then on April 26 (5:16am) our Taurus New Moon launches. That posting will come up in a couple days.
On April 28 Venus re-enters Aries having wrapped up its retrograde on April 15. No longer cockeyed optimist Pisces Venus we move from fantasy to hard charging action Aries..."let's get this party started!"
Also on April 28, Mercury conjuncts Uranus. Normally this is a once a year aspect but because Mercury is retrograde we will get another round of this on May 9. Brilliant thinking, breakthroughs, mouthy, perhaps a wee bit chaotic. Watch where lightening bolts hit on April 28 and prepare for them to hit again on the second pass.

Pluto Retrograde
Pluto Retrograde
Apparently
we don’t have enough planets retrograde because at the end of the 29-day Aries
cycle, Pluto also will turn retrograde.
On April 20 he starts his journey at 19 Capricorn and five months later
on September 28 he turns direct at 16 Capricorn. Of course, Pluto spends half of every year
in a backward motion so this is not extraordinary. But for us Americans it is a very
interesting time to watch the Pluto transits.
As I have said on previous reports, it takes Pluto 248 years to go
around the sun. The last time Pluto was
at this degree was 1769. Look at that
date. That is seven years before our American
Revolution when Pluto was at 27 degrees Capricorn.
Pluto
will be at 27 Capricorn again and the USA will have what is called a Pluto
return in 2022 (but we’ll start to ramp up in 2021). What will America look like then? It
will certainly be here but it won’t feel or look the same as it does right now
in 2017. We are building towards
something. If you google “American
Revolution and Time Line” you will see a number of incidents over many years that
lead to July 4, 1776. We can look
around and know something is happening now. This is an extraordinary cycle for us to be
alive and witness. Remember NO ONE in America is still alive for
the last time Pluto was in Capricorn.
And here we are part and parcel of this dynamic period. Do you think it is an accident? Do you think something in our nature or in
our children’s make up is here to experience this and be part of it? Yes,
so do I.
And it
does not take a political scholar to observe some of the same energies colonial
Americans experienced are up again for us now to process. Systems that are broken, corruption,
scandals, the seeds of something is being repeated. What
institutions do we want to save? What
institutions do we want to keep but rebuild?
What institutions do we want to get rid of and what do we want as a
replacement?
Ever
since Pluto moved into Capricorn in 2008, which you must remember because
that’s when the economy crashed and burned, we have all been processing the
power of institutions and what makes them work and what does not and of course
we see their corruption. Have we fixed
anything? Maybe. Maybe not.
Pluto is not done with its transit so we have 8 more years to work on
all of this stuff that we are watching and processing.
I heard
someone say, “Politics is no longer a spectator sport” and I thought, “Yep,
that’s Pluto in Cap.”
The
power of grassroots is the core of America’s history and it does seem kind of
quaint when you realize that in what is now a 21 hour car ride from Savannah to
Boston, those patriots in those 13 colonies shook the world when they said,
“No” to British rule. It was a long war
and by the way Pluto was in Aquarius when it ended in 1783. But had they not done what they did we would
just be a giant Bermuda. Instead America
was born and shaped history for both good and bad. I have ZERO idea where we will be at the end
of this cycle but when Pluto slows down during the retrograde we should expect
things to emerge that need to be addressed in a real way. We will be asked to go down to the roots and
dig something out. And this is all political parties, something
is ‘off’ in all of them and the answer will only come from the ground up. There will be a number of ‘come to jesus’
moments for people who are looking at their politicians, institutions and the
established way of doing business. It
will not feel right for many.
Personally,
those people who have planets between 16-20 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and
Capricorn you are already feeling an overhaul.
How are you accessing your power?
I will tell you if you are not accessing it and you seem to drone on and
on about how you were once again made a victim, I would suggest you are missing
the point of Pluto. And if your friends
aren’t telling you, let me be the one to break it to you, we want you to knock
off the victim drama. Stop it. Make changes at the ground level and get on
with life. Pluto strips us down to our
core. Capricorn is brutal in its
practicality. If something is not
working it will just push until we realize it is time to fix it. During the retrograde some of us will be
making adjustments as we fold in power and become more empowered. This is not a time to be cruel but to shift
and morph, grow and emerge. If you feel
like a snake shedding its skin or a butterfly emerging from a cocoon you are
processing Pluto. Watch what comes up
between now and September and if you don’t get it ‘right’ don’t worry you will have another chance in winter.

Libra Full Moon

April 10th

Aries, Libra, Cancer & Capricorn are cardinal signs and
they mean business. They are action
oriented and are always moving towards a goal. Of the four signs, Libra is perhaps the one
that hides its energy the most. However,
Libra can be stealth, and one might be confused and actually wonder if Libra is
even engaged. But yes, Libra is up to
something. Where the other cardinals
are loud, blustery and show aggressiveness, Libra can be quiet or subdued and
not weighing in public on a particular
thorny issue. But behind the scenes Libra
is probably doing what it does best. Libra
is calling, pressuring, cajoling, guilting or doing whatever they can to get
what Libra wants, in short Libra is not some shy wallflower devoid of
aggressiveness. Aries, is Libra’s
opposite and a noisy proud warrior.
Conquering what ever it needs to get to what it wants. They may seem at odds but in truth they are
both aggressive it is just that Libra has a lighter touch and will consider
diplomacy as a tool to get what it wants.
The key is both signs move on their “Wants.” And with Jupiter on the Moon...Wants will be up big time!
This Full Moon in Libra has the Sun in Aries in conjunction
with Uranus in Aries. Uranus is our
shock and awe planet and is prone to stirring up energy in an out of the blue
manner. Something could come in from
the outside and shake things up. And Jupiter opposite in Libra could fan the flames. At the
same time, Sun and Moon are in square Pluto in Capricorn, reliving some stuck
energy that we were all processing between 2012-2015. Something from that period may come back up
for us to process again. In particular,
we may be asking: Are we comfortable
with the status quo? Is there something
established that needs to be ditched? Or
is there something established that is
worth saving? Or is it time to get rid
of things in particular things that have been in the hands of people in
authority? This is not just global but
also personal. This will be most acute
for anyone with planets in the 20-22 degrees of Cardinal signs.
Obviously relationships and issues with relationships will
be front and center.
Questions to ask this full moon:
Where do I need to be aggressive?
Where do I need diplomacy?
Where do I need to figure out a back door agreement?
What is being shaken up? What is a deft response?
Where do I need to figure out an alternative plans?
And of course Libra can be the quintessential passive
aggressive….let’s avoid that path, if we can.

tactics is the long route to victory.
Tactics without
strategy is the noise before defeat.” Sun Tzu – Art of War
Our Astrological Calendar
Looking Ahead
We are in a little vexing period for the next ten
days.
This weekend we are in Gibbous moon where we are
looking at our schedule and daily or routine actions and wondering if our daily
work speaks to a meaningful life? If
not, what changes should we ponder?
On the 8th Venus square Saturn. Cold finances and cold love. Finding structure in both love and money is
valuable. Also on the 8th, the
Sun will square Pluto, which is ripe with conflict. It is an annual aspect so we get it every
year but this one has a bit more punch as we head toward the building tensions of this Full Moon. Then on the 9th Mercury turns
retrograde. Here comes some more hassles. Oh, well.
After Full we move into Disseminating phase and
some gentler energies will start to flow with a beautiful Sun trine Saturn on
the 17th. And on the 19th
Sun enters solid Taurus, which will be a welcome change after 30 days of fiery
Aries.
Gibbous Moon
April 7, 2017
5:24 am EDT
Gibbous:
We refine our information. We pick and choose, we discriminate, and we organize
to be ‘Virgo’ like. We sort through
details. Have we missed something? How are we sifting through the information? Go back and make sure something hasn’t been
neglected. Refine our actions.
Focus on:
What needs fixing in your schedule? What are you neglecting about your daily life
that could be improved upon to give you the life you want this year? What are you putting together in your
calendar that is meaningful?
Special Focus:
4/7: Sun oppose Jupiter. Independence feels good but what about
others? How can taking your own path
support a partnership? How can
partnerships support independence?
4/8: Venus square Saturn. Love and move feel cold. So practical about love it is almost
jaundiced.
4/8: Sun square Pluto. Breaking out, wanting new vs
establishment. Warrior vs spy. Freelance vs corportate.
4/9: Mercury retrograde (see previous post)
Full Moon Phase
April
11, 2017
2:08pm EDT
21
Libra 32
Full Moon: We make the needed adjustments on the things
we planted. Usually emotions are up and running and for those people who
perhaps did not utilize the new moon and the rest of the waxing moon, this is
when emotions can get the better of us.
There can often be a big emotional break, for no other reason than to
get back on track. Some partnership
will offer up some balance. The moon is
bright and full and there is no room for shadows, what is reflecting on
you?
Focus on: See separate post
Special focus:
4/13:
Sun conjuncts Uranus. Excitement. A shot of instability. Creativity, ingenuity. Celebrating the unusual. Weird is highlighted.
Disseminating
April
15
3:41am EDT
Disseminating: Share information; find a
teacher or someone who has more knowledge. Perhaps there was a big ol’ blow out
on the full and one feels in need of support and help, this is the phase to
reach out to one who knows more. This is when we find a rabbi or a minister or
therapist who gives us more insight.
And of course, you too may be ready to teach and share your own
information.
Focus on: How are you sharing your big ideas? How are you sharing your education? How are you sharing the stuff you have learned? How are you bridging worlds? How are you expanding your world and how does
that apply to the goals you set on new moon?
Special focus:
4/17:
Sun Trine Saturn. Actions and energy are
supported in a meaningful structured manner.
Actions for independence are backed by faith.
4/19:
Sun enters Taurus
