The day after Venus stops being retrograde, Jupiter begins its annual retrograde.   It takes Jupiter about a year to get through a sign and about 12 years to get through the zodiac.  Right now, we are revisiting the period between June 2011 and June 2012 when we last had Jupiter in Taurus.   Before that period, it was (roughly) June 1999 to June 2000.    Jupiter is the planet of big.   It is the largest planet in our solar system and so where Jupiter is in your chart you will see some “big”.   Transiting Jupiter through the natal chart will bring “big” temporarily to the house and any natal planets that it contacts.   Where was your big in 2012 and 2000?   Are you repeating themes now?

On some level we are learning the gravity that comes with focused practicality (Taurus).  There is power of being measured and taking everything step by step.   Taurus understands foundations and building something from the ground up.   Ironically Uranus who can disrupt anything that is not working has been going through Taurus as well and will be wrapping up its period in 2026.   During Jupiter retrograde we may slow down and figure out what works and what needs patience.  This could be the perfect antidote and follow up to anything Uranus changed or broke since it entered Taurus in 2018.

Where are you rebuilding?   If you are unclear what needs rebuilding the Jupiter retrograde may get your attention.   A lot with Jupiter is about philosophy and there may need to be some philosophies that benefit by being rethought.   Are your big opinions working for you and your goals of building something from the ground up?  Consider what comes up between now and December 30th and if your opinions change and or become more practically aligned with your values.
