This Week in Astrology

This week has an emphasis on Big.   “Go big or go home.”  It will be the constant thread even if it is not said it will be felt.   Jupiter the largest planet is in his home sign and will have its first touch with the Sun in Sagittarius on  Sunday the 25^ththen on Tuesday Sun connects to Mercury in Sag and also Mercury connect with Jupiter.    For some of us we will need this energy to get us over some type of hurdle or hump.  Others will be inspired to be big and go all out on some project, idea or approach.  There will be a big boost from the universe and we will feel it. Of course there will probably be something incredible in its stupid-ness that will also get our attention.  

The Moon leaves the full phase on Monday the 26^thand moves into Disseminating where we are focused on sharing our cozy connective-ness.   We need share our feelings with family.  Not necessarily the ones we were born into but those who we share similar values. 

At the end of the week on the 29^thwe move into Last quarter moon where we do our final round of actions.   Back on the new moon (Nov 7-11) we began a journey where we looked at our broken pipes and saw where our connections were misguided.  Our sex life, debt, taxes and how we get our power were put under a major spot light.  Things that work well were left alone but things that were ‘off’ were in our sights and have been a source of focus for three weeks.  Now on the last quarter we can do another round of action.  This is detailed work.  We can see what we need to do on the micro level to address any issues.      Watch what comes up and see how it speaks to a need for power and empowerment solutions.  Venus oppose Uranus on the 30^threinforces the importance of values.   Who values you?  Who does not? Who do you value?  Who do you not?   Is any of this a shock?   Are there changes you need to make upon this realization?

Disseminating: Share information; find a teacher or someone who has more knowledge. Perhaps there was a big ol’ blow out on the full and one feels in need of support and help, this is the phase to reach out to one who knows more. This is when we find a rabbi or a minister or therapist who gives us more insight.  And of course, you too may be ready to teach and share your own information.  

Focus on:  How are you sharing your feelings?  How are you sharing your ability to bring ‘family’ to others?  How are you sharing the power of roots?  How are you sharing the transformative power of feelings and roots? 

11/27: Sun conjunct Mercury.  Thoughts that put you in a ‘foreign’ experience.   Thinking that builds bridges.  Communication that inspires.  

11/27: Mercury conjunct Jupiter:   Big thoughts, big ideas, big opinions, god help us, can anyone just be nuanced or must it all be big? 

Last Quarter Moon Phase

Last Quarter moon:  Now we do the final adjustments to the seeds we planted on new. The final call, the final letters to send, we follow all the trails that came up that still make sense. And we let the other parts lay fallow. It is a time of action but wise action.  It is a time for living  “The serenity prayer” 

God, grant me the Serenity
to accept the things
I cannot change Courage to change the
things I can, and the
Wisdom to know the difference.

Focus on:

What actions are you taking that take care of details?  What actions are you taking that tie up lose ends?  What actions are you taking that support your daily routines especially around health and diet?  How is all of this work transformative? 

Special Focus:

11/30: Venus oppose Uranus:  Independence comes from love.  Letting something go so it can come back ready to love. 

12/01: Mercury enters Scorpio
