The USA Presidential Election

 

The 2024 Presidential Election

 I am not comfortable making predictions on political elections.   But I know some people have asked me what is being said by others.   I decided to go to to some of my favorite astrologers and see what they have to say about the election.  

Astrologer SJ Anderson focuses on the Saturn in Pisces cycle which happens every 28-30 years.     He went back for the last 150 years (at the Aries Ingress) and all the elections where Saturn was in Pisces had a Democratic win.   The other conclusion he found was  that whichever party is in office will remain in office.  This includes 1964 race where JFK was no longer on the ticket due to his assassination and Johnson was now the top of the ticket.  SJ made this prediction with an addendum June 2023.  

SJ did not weigh in the personal charts of the candidates.   He is confident in the Saturn Pisces cycles as predictive of the election. 

 

Astrologer Nick Dagan Best believes Donald Trump will win the election due to the status of Trump’s personal chart when projected out to next spring.  He originally made this prediction in 2022 and stands by it as of August.   

Helena Woods at Astrocartography with Helena  does not say who will win the election but points out the rough and supportive lines of both candidates when projected on the map of the USA.  Trump’s Mars line goes from Pennsylvania to DC to North Carolina.   She wonders if there will be civil unrest in the line of this hot zone. 

 Dan Waites at World Astrology Report uses the USA Chart (Sibley) and current transits to the US chart and concludes a win for Harris.     

Given my interest is mundane astrology, my preference would also be to use the USA chart.   About a month ago I pulled out the transit and progressed aspects for the Sibley chart.    I am curious by October.   The Saturn to the USA ASC is tricky.  Some kind of hard hurdle, maybe a loss but still we can’t be sure of the exact time that the founders signed the Declaration of Independence which would impact that aspect.  However, the Saturn trine Sun also mid-October is very inspiring for the nation.     In November the USA Chiron return which is so close to the election suggests a potent healing.      Also the USA progressed Aries Moon oppose the Libra MC (again maybe not exact) and the Mars retrograde could present as public protests after the election.   The Moon square Venus and Pluto square MC in January suggest some difficulties around the sign off on the ballots.   But by the time we get to the innaugeration date Venus sextile Jupiter brings joy and also leans into women leadership.    This may be fortuitious for a Harris win.     Maybe.

I would also like to highlight astrologer Rick Levine who did not make a prediction but spoke about the four charts of the candidates.   Rick also started saying two years ago that he did not see either Biden and Trump on the ticket.
