This week starts off with today’s retrograde
Uranus. It is an annual event but it has
an extra oomph given Venus turned retrograde yesterday. Change is in the air based no doubt on what
we really value. Where we are
inauthentic will feel off and difficult to keep going. But living a more authentic life takes
courage. Venus will talk to us forfive weeks and Uranus will push on us for five months.
We continue the 1st Quarter moon that began
on Friday. All the seeds we planted on
Cancer New Moon need to be stoked and tended on the 1st
Quarter. If you started something then now
follow up. Even if you didn’t do
anything specific on New Moon there still needs to be a follow up. For example maybe you happened to have met
with friends during the Cancer New Moon and when you left them you really felt
appreciated. On 1st Quarter you can make
an effort to expand on that feeling of appreciation, maybe you set up another
meeting with someone you miss, or maybe you make an effort to deepen your relationship
with your spouse or maybe you call up someone whom you really appreciate. It is the energy that was planted on New
Moon is where you follow up. And of
course if something lame and annoying came up on New Moon, you take the 1st
Quarter Moon to remedy it.
You have all day Sunday and most of Monday to
follow up on the seeds. Then in the
evening we move into Gibbous Phase.

Gibbous:
We refine our information. We pick and choose, we discriminate, and we
organize to be ‘Virgo’ like. We sort
through details. Have we missed
something? How are we sifting through
the information? Go back and make sure
something hasn’t been neglected. Refine
our actions.
Focus
on:
What have you missed about being optimistic? What have you missed about shrugging stuff
off? How are you neglecting the value of
travel? How are you neglecting being
philosophical? How are you missing the
great outdoors? How are you missing the
value of a good laugh?
Then on Friday, July 31, we move into Aquarius Full Moon.
That post will follow.
In the meantime make the most of your week!
