Oldest Work of Art Discovered

And less than one week since Neptune moved into Pisces (formally) Scientists announced that cave paintings older than those ones of bison or elk or whatever they were in France have been found in Spain. And they weren't done by humans. Nope, at 42,000 years old, the 'people' on Earth were something different.

Also what is interesting is that these paintings are of fish. How perfectly Pisces!

You thought art history was limited to human beings? Well, think again.

A recently discovered painting in Spanish caves in Costa Del Sol was found by scientists to be approximately 42,000 years old, making it the oldest artwork ever. What is more, this artwork dates back even before our hairy ancestors evolved into Homo Sapiens, making it the first known painting by Neanderthals. Professor Jose Luis Sanchidrian called it an "academic bombshell" and its effects will reverberate through the field of Art History for years to come.
